    I always shop at Express in Clearview for my son and my husband. When shopping most of the time they're not with me so I pick up items, bring them home and they try them on. I always ask, "if they can't fit the item can I return it or exchange it" and I always get a yes. Yesterday I came in contact with a new, younger employee. I told her I wanted to exchange the shirt for bigger sizes. She directed me to go get the sizes I needed and when I made it back to the counter she said because the shirts came off the clearance rack ($19.99) I couldn't exchange them. I know that this is something they just started because my family has a closet full of Express gear from shoes, pants and shirts so I shop there a lot, and I've always exchanged or returned items if they couldn't fit it. I think it is absolutely ridiculous that I couldn't even get a bigger size for my son. Now I have three small shirts that I can't do anything with. WASTED MONEY!!! Express won't see me anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    The store has a nice layout, but don’t go if you’re needing help finding something or have a question. Customer service is nonexistent. The clerks saw me coming in and instead of at least saying “hi” they just looked at me like they were sad they had to actually help someone before they clocked out for the day. Three clerks, no floor awareness (July 20 7:30pm). I guess they’ve gotten comfortable being in an area with a good household income and forgot basic retail principles. I walked clean out. This is why people shop online.
