I came to the Express at Bridgewater Mall and the whole experience was disappointing. My mom has an Express account (and even a credit card with them), so at checkout I entered her phone number, the same one I had just used seconds earlier on my screen. Suddenly the cashier says there’s “no account.” Instead of asking if there were multiple accounts linked to that number (which there were; three, actually), she just dismissed it completely, instead of asking.
When I politely asked for clarification, the manager butted in with the rudest, most condescending tone, saying: “Meaning there is no account, is that your phone number or your mom’s?” The way he said it was nasty and unnecessary, especially when it turned out the account was there the whole time. It was their mistake, not ours.
On top of that, when I first walked into the store, this same manager stared me down for several seconds making me super uncomfortable. No smile, no greeting, just judgmental energy. Combined with his attitude at checkout, it made the whole shopping trip uncomfortable.
The only positive was the employee who actually helped me with my purchase, he was patient and kind. But overall, this location has a serious issue with rudeness from management and staff. It makes customers feel unwelcome, and it’s not the first time I’ve noticed it here.

This location use to be my favorite place to shop! I came in today after work and didn’t receive any help at all!! There was only one gentleman helping people!!

I loved Express because it was my go to for 00 Short and XXS petite, but even now that they no longer sell my size, Greg and Wendy at the Bridgewater location always go above and beyond to make every store experience as seamless as possible, even going as far as helping with matters that are beyond their retail scope. I never leave the store upset, even when I can’t find exactly what I need. That is the epitome of excellent customer service and can only hope every location offers the same level of satisfaction. Your diligent work NEVER goes unnoticed!

I went today to find a pair of jeans for my husband , jeans had a sale tag on top of 39 and when i went to check out they said it wasn’t 39 i said i can show you where i got them from where you have the tags of 39 dollars jeans than another lady came up to me all rude saying they where not 39 so i said if i look for them on the app and there 39 will you guys price match wich they usually do she say they dont do it anymore and that things have changed in the last months when i had made recent purchases and was honored online price after that i was told they would check on their end and they wouldn’t let me even look on the app all the people at the register looked at me nasty and with an attitude like i didn’t belong i have never experienced such a bad and poor costumer service

Staff is friendly but their return policy is terrible, after 30 days, no returns, not even for a gift card.
Gift Cards can be purchased in Express retail stores, Express Factory Outlet stores, and on express.com.
