Was just in there 30-40 min ago. I believe the recent negative comments on here about the staff. There’s definitely an unfriendly vibe in the air. The young kid (Hispanic looking) did not acknowledge me, but when a woman (customer) who also appeared to be Hispanic walked in, he greeted her in a friendly fashion and assisted her, all smiles. I definitely felt discriminated against. Not sure if it was my ethnicity (Asian background) but there was definitely something about my appearance he didn’t care for. There was another young worker there, a lady with a Hijab. She At least acknowledged me & was cordial but she definitely had a snear look on her face when I returned the clothes I tried on. Not sure if these two individuals had bad experiences with people of my background or appearance, but they definitely could work on their manners and demeanor. Learn how to be polite to all people from all backgrounds regardless of your personal prejudices.

I had one of the worst customer service experiences of my life at this Express store today (09/26/2025 around 1:30 pm). The store manager, Jessica, treated my elderly mother and me with shocking disrespect.
Even after I showed her my receipt and email confirmation proving my purchase was not from the outlet, she kept cutting me off and refused to let me explain. I had to ask her multiple times to allow me to speak, but she dismissed me arrogantly and continued insisting she was right, claiming she’s worked at Express for 23 years. That is no excuse for rudeness and discrimination.
Jessica’s behavior was extremely unprofessional and offensive. She mocked us, minimized us, and acted as if she was “above” us especially because my mother does not speak English. It felt discriminatory and degrading. I have been a loyal Express customer for years, and I have never experienced such a hostile and arrogant attitude from any employee, let alone a manager.
It is unacceptable for Express to have a store manager who treats customers this way. Jessica refused to give me her last name, but she was working today around 1:30 pm. I strongly urge Express to take immediate action, as no customer should ever be disrespected, discriminated against, or mocked in this way.

Very Disappointed – Rude and Unprofessional Behavior
I’ve been a loyal Express customer for over 12 years and am currently a Platinum member. Unfortunately, my recent experience was extremely disappointing. The staff was rude, dismissive, and showed no regard for customer service. This is not the Express I’ve known for over a decade — it feels like the values and customer-first attitude have completely changed. As a long-time supporter, I expected better. Very poor experience.
