Terrible place
We had such a great experience at Meramec Bluffs. The staff was extremely kind and accommodating. My 102-year-old mom was living at home with a lot of in-home care, and we hoped we would be able to keep that up. Unfortunately, she had a fall and had to be taken to the hospital. We had to scramble to find a nursing home that would take my mom, most were full to capacity. Meramec Bluffs made room for her. While she was there, she was treated so kindly, compassionately and respectfully, and we were very happy with the level of care she received. Our family was also treated with the same regard. The staff went out of their way for us on several occasions. The facility itself it beautiful! It is clean and very well maintained, and we felt very good about leaving my mom's care in their hands. I do not hesitate to recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for a home for their loved one. If I could rate 10 stars, I would! Thank you Meramec Bluffs!!!

My husband and I have been residents of Meramec Bluffs for 6 years. The residents and staff are very friendly. We especially like all of the activities available. We both play water volleyball, Mahjong, shuffleboard and several card games. The outside trips are outstanding. There is a big variety of food available. The chef works really hard at trying to please everyone. If you want to make new friends, enjoy great food and have a good time, this is the place to be.

My spouse's grandmother lives here, and has for a few years. I have visited several times over that time. If I were a senior, this is the kind of place I would want to live. The staff are helpful, kind, and caring. They look out for the residents, and the residents look out for them. The restaurant is great, and all their meals are tasty with a variety of options. Meramec is an as-much-as-you-need type of place; they have individual homes for those who want complete Independence, wide variety of apartment sizes, assisted living, rehabilitation facilities, and nursing-home facilities. You can move into and out of each as your health needs change. They have planned outings for social events in the city and around the community, shopping or grocery trips, and plenty of social events and amenities on the campus if one wanted to stay "in". The buildings and public spaces are mostly all connected indoors, so residents can get to wherever they need to easily. Guest parking is sometimes scarce, but residents have underground or covered parking if needed. I wish there were places like this were I live, and I think that says a lot about the place.
