Think twice before banking here and check out the reviews on this Bank on the review websites. Open an account hadn't been open long my money's in that account my social security check is going to that account and they said it would be for to 5 days under review so I won't be able to access my money to pay my bills or anything I should have read the reviews before the beginning with this Bank. Don't even have much money in the account I don't understand why it's under review.

Some of the reviews herein for EverBank are not fair to them. If your application was denied there might be a good reason for it. If you expect full brick-and-mortar service and want the higher-than-normal savings interest rates…. need I say more?! I am writing this review based on my online experience only with EverBank; I have not been to this branch. The application process was smooth, and both the website and mobile app are easy to use. They have some limitations like many banks with holds and transfer limits, but I am aware of them and know how to manage them; in return I receive a better than normal interest rate. Tip: if you need to transfer amounts larger than their set limits, pull the money from your brick-and-mortar bank. You login to your brick-and-mortar account and then request a transfer from EverBank. In summary if you pull it out there is no limit that I know of, and if you push it out you are limited by EverBank’s limits.

Really crappy little bank They have a high yield but no service and a really poor website and app. Seems like they could go out of business any day leaves you uneasy giving them money to hold

I deposited $3000 into my savings from another bank. That deposit was CASH. THERE IS NO POINT AT ALL FOR EVERBANK TO “HOLD” that money for 3 business days!!!

I opened a high interest savings account last November and at the time there was a $50k daily limit on out-going transfers. Sometime thereafter, they "temporarily" imposed a $2500 daily limit on out-going transfers. On March 4, 2025, they increased it to a whopping $5k daily transfer limit. I needed to make a transfer greater than $5k to another bank quickly so my only option was to wire the money. I spoke to their customer service and the lady said she would make a note on my account that the $25 wire fee would be reimbursed. I set up the wire around 1:00 and at 4:45 I received an email that I needed to speak to their fraud department. Ridiculous, did they not see that "Kora" made a note regarding my wire? Why do I need to speak to the fraud department when I am wiring money to another bank account that is in my name? I feel like I my money is being held hostage. Of course I called the representative right away and they did not answer. Hoping to get this resolved today.
