Tons of issues. Can't hang blinds, the toilet was already busted, and the community is honestly just shoddy for 90 dollar hoa fees.

0 Issues so far, builder is super easy to contact and quick to fix minor and expected small things that come with new builds. Easy process from start to finish.

The home I received has been pretty nice, there's a few things that'd I'd like to tweak or that I find "wrong" but it's definitely not a deal breaker. For what they are offering I find it to be fair. The process are pretty easy and I can tell once the subdivision is done it will be pretty nice. I find the location pretty appealing as it's not too far from the city but you still kinda feel far away from it all. Just get an inspection before closing and your golden. From what I understand, starlight homes is owned by Ashton woods. The difference from what I can tell is starlight offers spec homes that you don't customize, while Ashton woods offers full customizable homes. My only 2 gripes with Estrella crossing is: The HOA, I don't mind paying for an HOA but id at least like to see why I am paying them. Several trees, bushes and plants seem to be dying everywhere, grass in park areas dying. Trash that seems to just stay around until it blows away. I get it's still a construction area, but if I'm already paying my fees, keep up with cleaning after them and keeping the areas already done looking nice. Second, a lot of people with the big dogs don't seem to pick up their dogs poop. This is probably pretty common everywhere, but it's an annoyance. I have a dog and it's not difficult to clean up after them. I'm half tempted to set up a camera and report them, but I'll see how things go with time. Other then that, not a bad place to buy a house! 👍

Watch “Cy Porter” he’s an inspector and look for Starlight homes in his video feed. It’s likely you don’t want to buy from these people after watching. Yikes!!!!! Criminal behavior observed.
