In the Web Design and Social Media Marketing career training program you will learn to design website user interfaces, as well as learn the technical aspects necessary to make websites functional. Students will learn the fundamentals of HTML and CSS as well as gain experience in content management systems.

In the Network and Database Professional career training program you learn to deploy networks, ensure reliability and consistency of the network, handle problems, and reduce the risk of network failure.

Database administrators perform report generation, backup management, security management, and performance monitoring and tuning – you’ll make sure data is secure, available and is used productively.

If you’re interested in working on PLCs to help improve commercial and industrial processes, consider enrolling in Erie Institute of Technology’s Electronics Technician Training Program. In this 12-month program, you’ll learn how to install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electronic devices.

As an HVAC/R technician, you’ll have a versatile skill set. You can choose to join a private company or even work for yourself. In either case, you’ll likely work in residential homes, schools, hospitals, and just about any facility that uses heating, ventilation, AC, and refrigeration systems.

The basic requirements that you must meet are: You must be a US citizen or an eligible non-citizen. You must be registered with Selective Service if you are a male over the age of 18. You must be able to present a High School Diploma or equivalent degree (GED). You must not owe a refund on any previous government grants, taxes, or be in default on any previous government loans. You must enroll in one of EIT’s programs with at least part-time status

Transfer and returning students should complete applications prior to May 1st each year. Recent high school graduates or first-time students should complete applications prior to August 1st to be considered on time for state funding sources. It is best to complete your financial aid paperwork as soon as you have made the decision to go to school. Once the paperwork is complete you will be able to focus on your education.

There are several types of alternative loan funding available to those interested in further education. We also offer interest free payment plans to those students who would rather make payments directly to the school.

Choosing the right vocational training program is important to your success in the field. At Erie Institute of Technology, our expert instructors are dedicated to providing you with practical training and in-class instruction that translates into more opportunities. We offer HVAC/R Technology Program,Electrician Program, and Welding Program.

You will gain skills in installing HVAC units, including electronic and mechanical components; ductwork installation, including flexible tubing and sheet metal; installation and repair of fuel and water supply lines; installation and recycling of refrigerants; installation and repair of electrical connections to HVAC/R components; and the installation and repair of HVAC/R system automation components.

Upon completion of the Electrician Program, students will understand the practices and applications found in residential, commercial and industrial electricity.

9- Months

We offer an Administrative Professional Program, which consists of six months of classroom training, followed by three months of an externship in a local business where students can apply the skills they’ve learned to real-world situations and gain valuable experience for their resume and job search.

15 months

Students will: - Become familiar with power systems in homes, businesses, and factories - Maintain electrical systems and install them in new construction - Become familiar with tools of the electrical trade - Learn national electrical code requirements

21 Months

When a circuit is closed, electricity then flows through electric wiring to power it through and bring power to such appliances or electronics. And the opposite applies to an open circuit.

Over 80% of current students, as well as those who have completed their education and are now successful graduates, have used financial aid to cover some or all of their educational expenses. Everyone’s financial aid package is unique to them. The type of financial package that will work for you is not necessarily the best one for the next person. There are several factors that come into play when completing a financial package. We will work personally with each individual to ensure that the plan we set is the best for you. At EIT, students can earn certifications in specialized fields such as Phlebotomy Technician, Electronics Technician, HVAC/R Technology, CNC Machinist, and Welding. These certifications are industry-recognized, preparing students for entry-level roles in their fields.

Yes, EIT offers flexible class schedules, including part-time and evening options for certain programs. This flexibility helps accommodate students who may be working or have other commitments.
