I’ve been a loyal patron of this restaurant, having dined here at least five times over the past 3 months. My first visit left me thoroughly impressed with both the exceptional service and food quality, which is why I continued to return. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was deeply disappointing and has made me reconsider future visits.
I ordered the King Crab legs and a beef filet—two dishes that should showcase a restaurant of this caliber. Both fell short of expectations. The crab legs were oversalted, served in a surprisingly small portion, and lacked the careful preparation I’d come to expect. The beef filet, while cooked to the correct temperature, was inexplicably dry and tough. I ended up leaving half the steak uneaten.
The problems didn’t end there. I requested my side of potatoes au gratin to be packed to go, but the container wasn’t properly sealed. By the time I arrived home, the cheese and butter had completely leaked out, rendering the dish inedible and requiring me to throw it away.
For a $200 dinner, this experience was unacceptable. What was once a reliable favorite has clearly experienced a decline in quality and attention to detail. Unless significant improvements are made, I won’t be returning.
