  I feel SO relieved to have a Special Safe place for my Reaction Dominant Sensitive dogs. To know that I can take a vacation and my dogs will be safe and not able to hurt anyone with their behavior issues. THE STAFF IS HELPFUL CONFIDENT and Supportive.

  I have experience with several dogs trained at Elkhound Ranch, they are all well behaved. I have a very high energy King Charles Cavalier who I was challenged with training despite having dogs all my life. I took Leo, my Cavalier, to Elkhound Ranch for training; the results were amazing! He is so well behaved: heels perfectly, will sit or lay down on command and stay until released. He stays in the place position until released. Leo does all this even with distractions like rabbits, squirrels, cars (which he use to chase), people and small children. I appreciate the customized training and care provided to Leo while he was staying at Elkhound Ranch. They are kind and accommodating. I received weekly videos of his progress. One of the best features of the training is that Bill, the trainer, spent a lot of time training me to help and continue to work with Leo. Because of my personalized training, I have been able to train Leo to recognize our property boundaries and stay within these boundaries. Elkhound Ranch is amazing!
