I went to view these apartments applied and got approved. After you get approved your suppose to put down a holding deposit, there suppose to email you the link. I never got the link. I called, these apartments never pick up the phone. So I went up there personally on a Saturday to ask them about paying my reservation fee. A women at the front desk tells me the system kicked me out and it might take a couple of hours because the kicked me out because I only had 24hrs to pay and system would need to reverify my income and she would GIVE ME CALL when I was able to go in and pay the reservation fee. NEVER GOT A CALL! They reach out to me today on Wednesday they reach out through text to ask if I still wanted to rent with Elation. I was happy someone got in contact with me, because yes I still wanted to rent there. All for them to tell me the apartment I applied for and got approved they let someone else apply for because my reservation fee was not paid. I won’t be recommending these apartments to anyone and I will also do a story time for all of my followers to let them aware of my experience with this apartment complex.

If there was a way to give zero stars, I would. Considering my previous experiences in Venterra managed complexes, this one at Elation falls far short. Where do I even begin? The nightmare started with extremely disruptive upstairs neighbors whose animals were allowed to relieve themselves on the patio sides and run off to the lower floors. The absurdly loud, overcapacitated parties that happened every day at the pool into the wee hours of the night were another nightmare. To make matters worse, the gate and keypad malfunctioned consistently, with the last outrage lasting over a month! The amenities were absolutely trash, considering they were even accessible. Overcrowded parking areas from the gates being broken and everyone in the pool, well you could imagine the frustration.. To top it all off, a termite infestation began in May 2025 and went on for months. We dealt with dead termites, holes in the walls, and more. The lack of communication, follow-up, and any compensation or remedy was appalling. My partner and I moved out early September, but needless to say, the apartment had the damage that was never repaired (Yes since May). For months, we dealt with termites, dead termites, and holes in the walls. The communication was drawn out, long, and extensive, with repeated follow-up from our end. As someone who has been in people services and management for 10 years, this was atrocious. All of this being said, I would not recommend living here to anyone. DO BETTER!

i lived here for three years. it’s what you can except from a mega property company. if you can avoid chain apartment complexes like this please do- they have very little flexibility and understanding for personal situations. i was living in an apartment covered in mold for a year that gave me asthma and was told it was my fault. no solutions provided. the price gauging of rent is also inhumane as it’s based on an algorithm and since we don’t have any rental restrictions/ protection laws here in texas they can hike up the price to whatever they like. this isn’t to the fault of the staff on property, it’s just business for the company. again the root problem with this place is that it’s run by suits who only care about profit. what made this place worth living here was the wonderful maintenance team and kind front desk people. amenities were down/dirty 50% of the time, gate rarely works, car break ins (like all houston). it’s also not as new as it used to be and they stopped replacing carpeted areas after a tenant leaves. in the last apartment i transferred to here the carpet was completely matted and disgusting.

The giant sign outside proudly advertises a 24/7 Peloton Studio with the line “We have it, they don’t.” That’s completely false advertising. The gym keypad has been broken for over two weeks now, and instead of fixing the issue or finding a resolution immediately, management simply locked the gym and restricted access to “office hours only” — and it’s completely closed on Sundays. I’ve already shown up multiple times to find it locked. Residents are left completely in the dark with no timeline or updates on a resolution. When I emailed management about the problem, I was ignored. I followed up with a call, only to be told they couldn’t leave the door unlocked because of “possible trespassers.” The irony? The gates of the community have stopped operating and been wide open for nearly a month, so apparently our security and belongings are far less important than their equipment. Make it make sense… I could also complain about other issues, like the recent Wi-Fi outage that left me without service for four days because of weather issues. I work remotely and rely on Wi-Fi to do my job, yet I had to scramble to find accommodation to be able to work. Did I receive a discount or any kind of compensation for that? Nope. On top of that, there’s the ongoing leakage in my apartment. Every time I report it, I’m told the roofers “checked it and resolved it,” yet the moment it rains, the leak continues. I’ve even requested paint twice to cover up the water stains left behind, and nobody has ever shown up. And honestly, there’s so much more I could say. But at this point, I’ll save it for when I finally move out. After two leases here, I can confidently say that’s enough. It was fun while it lasted, but the constant issues and lack of accountability have made it clear that I don’t want to live here anymore.
