Guitar StoreMusical Instrument Store
The history of Eddie's Guitars dates back to 1971, when shop owner Ed Putney went into business. His passion for music dates back to the 1950s when he began taking classical piano lessons. In the home parlor where he took his lessons, Ed's passion for guitar was born. Sitting across from the Steinway Grand Piano where he sat were two Gibson guitars that he lusted to learn how to play. Unfortunately, it was not in the cards for him to learn, as his parents forbid him to play guitar. They were worried he “would turn out like Elvis Presley!” Throughout being in business in the '70s and '80s, Ed realized his passion for guitars could be translated into another area — sales. It was during that time that he committed to selling the best guitars.

Had a wonderful experience shopping at Eddies Guitars. This is by far the best place to buy a guitar. The selection is outstanding and the atmosphere was perfect. Griffin was amazing! Extremely helpful and knowledgeable with no pressure to purchase whatsoever. We ended up buying two Taylor’s! I can’t recommend them enough! Thank you!!!

Girorgi I believe you as the one that helped us purchase a guitar for our niece’s first guitar. Very knowledgeable and friendly. I was able to annoy everyone with my poor laying skills and they didn’t mind at all. I’ll come back to purchase an electric guitar for myself in the near future. Thanks for your warm service.

Can’t say enough good things about Eddie’s Guitars. I bought a high-end boutique guitar from them. I wired them the money, but got the amount wrong. I overpaid by quite a bit. They notified me and had a check sent with the guitar the next day. If they hadn’t said anything I would have never know. Nothing beats honesty and the guys at Eddie’s are top notch. I told them I owe them and my next guitar is coming from Eddie’s. Thanks Griffin.

It's better than shopping for a diamond engagement ring. Gave me the FIZZZ... Beautiful environment, very well organized, and personal care.

I wasn't used to a guitar place that required appointments. If you're at all serious at even trying a higher end guitar, I highly recommend reaching out. I ended up finding a guitar I absolutely fell in love with that I wouldn't have been able to play anywhere else in the area. Griffin was very helpful at getting me set up and then giving me space to play. I'm in love with this Iris guitar :)
