  Beware of long distance moving with Easy Movers/Wheaton Moving. Several boxes with irreplaceable, valuable items were missing, items which were never 'found'. The companies claim I am responsible because I did not personally check all of the boxes/cartons (and there were a lot from my 3 story house) to make sure they were there at the end of the move. I signed off that there was a delivery (my mistake), thinking that I would identify any issues in the coming week. Regardless of whether boxes were discovered missing or not at the end of the move, the fact remains that my items are still missing. The companies claim no responsibility for the missing items, nor several damaged items. Re damaged items, Wheaton Co said there was no evidence that the items such as a framed picture and a small oven were damaged during the delivery. I'm supposed to take pictures of all my possessions before the move? I was astounded. They made it seem like it was My fault that my items were missing/damaged because I couldn't prove they were missing/damaged. I really wasn't seeking monetary recompense (good thing because I was not offered any money even though I was insured); I just wanted/want my items returned to me.

  Easy Movers did a phenomenal job! They were very careful with all the furniture, no dents in any walls or anything. They took the time to put the beds in plastic and wrap up other necessary items. Highly recommend them for your move!

  Easy Movers definitely has that local, family feel to it. From the time they answer your calls, to the in-person walk through and estimate and eventually moving day, they really guide you every step of the way to make the moving process stress free and simple. If you're moving in the Maryland area, I'd highly recommend them, you won't be disappointed.
