  I bartend for a local catering company on the Outer Banks, and recently worked a wedding in Corolla that used Easy Ice. It was wonderful to have so much ice readily available for the entire evening. Usually we have to carry in all ice we use for the event and sometimes have to send a runner from the venue to purchase more. Not the case on this night! With 100+ guests, mixed drinks, kegs, and packaged beverages we had more than enough. I would highly recommend them for your next event or vacation needs.

  Easy Ice OBX gets a terrible review for very valid reasons. I had booked Easy Ice OBX back in June 2023 for my wedding in October 2023. I called and spoke with staff and booked an ice trailer for my wedding venue, paid the total balance and solidified the delivery location. Everything was set, paid for and the contract was in writing. 4 days before my wedding I decided to call around to my vendors to triple check all is well and as planned for the big day. Remember, I called them. I called and spoke to staff and they told me they CANCELLED THE ICE TRAILER DELIVERY. This was the FIRST time me hearing this news. This was 4 days BEFORE THE WEDDING. The person on the phone stated they cancelled the contract "last week" and someone was supposed to contact me. Well, I never got any phone call, no email, NOTHING. After a couple call backs from Easy Ice OBX, they confirmed they will not fulfill the delivery. It was ridiculous. You make a contract, you get your payment 5 months in advance and I call you and you tell me its cancelled 4 DAYS BEFORE the wedding. Ridiculous and terrible for business. Once I got the response of "I wouldn't make any money off this job anyways," I really saw what kind of business this company does. Terrible customer service, terrible communication, just terrible all around. You set a contract, receive payment and wait till I call you 4 days before the biggest day of my life for you to tell me No, we cancelled and wont uphold our end of the agreement. Mind you, I didn't even receive my refund until the DAY BEFORE my wedding. Pretty crazy to think that my money wasn't refunded and they would of never notified me of the Ice trailer not showing up day of the wedding. That is HORRIBLE for business. Disappointed to say the least in this company. I do not recommend.

  Terrible company. Cancelled on a Bride and Groom 4 days before a wedding after assuring them they could deliver to their venue. Changed their minds last minute and made no effort to remedy the situation they put their customer in.

  I didn't have a chance to return the survey before our final pickup. - I'd rate our delivery service a 5, and I'd 100 percent recommend this service to a friend or family. I found out about your company/service from a local family member. Everything from booking to the daily service was flawless and helpful. It was well worth not having to go out each day to purchase ice. Thank you so much for the excellent service. Easy Ice OBX has it down to a science.
