  I honestly debated on writing a review but after losing power today and coming home to a flooded basement, because of sub pump, my frustrations set it. I received a quote of $8700 for a Generac Stand By generator. After a few months, which I knew was the case. I got scheduled for an install. Installers showed up and immediately said they could not do the job because the drain was too close to the panel. Installer said he had to call his boss because it wasn't cheap. Nothing had changed from the initial quote so I said I wasn't paying more and wasn't going to do it. Intallers came back, took pictures and said someone would be in touch. I called the next day and left a message. Never got a call back. Emails were sent asking what was going on and never got an answer. I finally got a response when I filed a complaint with Generac, who opened a case. The response was " A refund was submitted". Plain and simple: Use another company and pay the extra money. This company will not honor their quote. Unfortunately there is a wait for another company to come so I am back to the portable generator for now.
