It's important to recognize good Customer Service. All too often, we are quick to point out the negative. I visited the DXL Store in Pineville this Afternoon, 1 September 2025; - Labor Day - I'm a disaster when it comes to fashion, honestly - with this divorce, I don't think I have anything to wear. I needed some essentials, and I needed them quickly. I'm challenging to shop for. I want to personally thank the Assistant Store Manager, Ms. Paige Logan, for being so polite, helpful, and accommodating. Thank you for being so enthusiastic and having a great attitude. I was able to leave with a great belt and an amazing button-down shirt that I know will get some attention. I plan to come back after this upcoming event, which I was shopping for, and spend some time putting together a small wardrobe of essentials. Once again, I appreciate Ms. Logan's help and guidance today. Paige, you made what could have been a very unpleasant experience for me that much easier.

Terrible Customer Dervice!!!!!
Went this morning to find a short sleeve 6XL shirt for my son for a wedding. The Sales Lady, was very rude and sent us to other stores to purchase what we were looking for. That didn't have a short sleeve shirt either. She said she would not send us there if they didn't. Said that short sleeve shirts were for little boys.
Don't tell customers what they want is incorrect. It's summer, it's HOT and yes, he wanted a short sleeve shirt.

Highly disgusted with my experience today at DXL. I have a wedding to go to today 08/30/2025 as I was invited last minute and only had long sleeve dress shirts and with where the wedding was going to be at I wanted to wear short sleeve. So I visited my local DXL in Pineville NC Got there right as they opened and walked in and started looking around I asked the lady working there where could I find the short sleeve dress shirts and she says and I'm quoting her words (we dont have any) i said ok and she told me they had some long sleeves and I told her I'm not looking for long sleeves and that I'm going to a wedding and with where the location is I wanted short sleeves. I'm a big guy and when I get hot a sweat alot so i would rather have short sleeve. She then says (short sleeves are for babys) I turned a left with out saying a word. Yes I know the comment seemed so little but I found the comment to be very rude. You work at a store where most people are coming in are already self-conscious about their size and thats the professionalism you get ??? I wish I got her name but didn't and I'm sorry DXL I used to shop and your store but as of today I more then likely will never return or buy anything from DXL online either.
Clothes selection is always been good, just got a call from a new customer I sent there that John is no longer at the location. The BEST part about going was the service and knowledge of both Bernard and John. Those 2 know fashion especially for the big guys. Definitely changed my whole wardrobe around. I used to call them even when out of state on putting outfits together. Definitely the biggest asset and reason for shopping at that location. DXL should have never let those guys get away.
