The first time I went to Dutch Bros was about a month ago. I got a caramel 'frappe' type drink and chocolate chip muffin top and both was terrible. I went a second time and got an iced tea, somehow worse. Fair enough, you can't like everything. But I waited 25 minutes for it both times and they're not cheap, so I kept trying to drink them but threw over half of each away.
My wife never likes trying new things. I told her they had a cherry slushy energy drink and she tried it and loved it. Of course, it was limited time only. It can be made using the diy options... but that's not the real gripe here. We learned that the only way not to spend half an hour in line after ordering online was to go to the pedestrian window and pick it up there. Once, it was already ready, but the wait was usually 15-20 minutes. My wife decided to get one Saturday, but there was a 16-person line ahead of her, with people having waited 35-40 minutes for a drink, despite ten people in there making drinks. She decided after 15 minutes to cancel... but there's no way to cancel an order once it's placed! If you call the number on Google, it goes to a corporate call center that's closed on weekends.
I decided to order her a slushy machine and let her make her own, because this is... truly awful. For a place with no hot food, there should not be a 30+ minute wait on a drink. I hope they get better as the workers gain confidence/skill, but I had such high hopes from friends out west gushing about this place but it's truly awful, a giant mess.

We live out of town, about 45 minutes away and wanted to try Dutch bros for the first time. I don’t really understand the rave. We waited 30+ minutes in line to get our coffee, the young girl taking our order was too busy talking to her coworker and got our order wrong. My husband ordered a white chocolate mocha and I ordered a large peppermint mocha hot. We thought the price she gave us was too cheap but didn’t really know since it was our first time here. We finally got the counter and we got a hot white chocolate mocha, not the peppermint. Coffee isn’t that great, wait time is awful, and the staff is young teenagers who really don’t want to be there. I’ll stick with 7brew and Starbucks where you get great coffee and great service.

The product is great. The people are great. The experience is HORRID, and take a 4 star product down to a 2 star ! If there are more than 4 cars in the line DO NOT GO THERE. The drive thru is an absolute mess. They try had to tell you which car to follow and if people actually listened it may go smoother, but no you are dealing with the general public, you can't expect common sesne. We have waited well over 45 minutes for our order before. This morning we waited nearly an hour and didnt even make it around the bend. We had to bail. Again the product is great, but they have to figure out this drive thru situation because as someone who has been there 20+ times in the less than a month they have been open, I don't think we will be back, especially after paying today and not able to get our drinks.

I don’t understand the logic of placing a mobile order 20 minutes before you arrive, but then they “check you in” when you get there. So now you have to wait even longer after you arrive. Order said it was supposed to be ready 9:15. 40 minutes later and we still haven’t gotten our drinks. Probably at least 10 people canceled their orders because of the ridiculous wait. They also prioritized someone’s order that came way after us because they “had somewhere to be”. All of us have somewhere to be. That makes no sense. Do not waste your time here.

I am a former barista of a certain green siren coffee company and am a bit of a coffee snob. At this point in my life, I have a hard time buying coffee at places that aren't locally owned. With that being said, I am also a healthcare worker and need to have my morning coffee and usually cannot wait very long for it so coffee chains are the way to go on my workdays. I used to go to Dunkin because it was cheap, fast, reliable and on my commute. Now that Dutch Bros is open, and most importantly their Order Ahead on the app is available, I have stopped by Dutch bros nearly every morning since the Order Ahead has been turned on. My coffee is always ready for me, so I never have to wait. It also is consistently delicious and not a gamble like other coffee chains tend to be.
While at this point in time the drive thru line is a bit slow, I do understand that this store is pumping out triple and quadruple the number of orders compared to nearby coffee shops. I will gladly give a bit of grace and do my part to assist by ordering ahead when I know I'm in a hurry! I also deeply appreciate how friendly and efficient the people working are. I do not need to have a ten-minute conversation with someone taking my order, but a friendly hello and a smile at 6:30 in the morning is deeply appreciated. I remember the days of having to get to work at 4:30 AM, they handle it much better than I ever did!
I will gladly be a repeat customer :)

We recommend purchasing our IRL Gift Cards if you want to give something physical!
How do I earn points?
It’s easy! Collect 3 points for each dollar you spend at a shop, and there’s no limit to how many you can earn!
Can I still get points if I forgot my phone?
We hate when that happens! If you ever forget your phone, just give your broista your phone number, and you’ll earn the points. Unfortunately, we won't be able to issue points for past purchases unless you snag a receipt and email it to us.
Can I customize my drink?
Yes, our broistas are always happy to make any drink the way you’d like!
Can I place my drink order over the phone?
We aren’t able to take drink orders over the phone, but we’re excited to serve you! Don’t let our long lines fool you - we'll get your favorite drink to you as quickly as possible!
Can I apply more than once?
You can only apply once to each location! To follow up on an application, please swing by and check in with your local broistas!
Can I still customize my drink through Order Ahead?
We'd love to customize your drink the way you want, so you can definitely make your usual customizations when ordering ahead! If you have a particularly creative order, or enjoy a cold pour, we recommend ordering your drink at the shop so your broista can get it just right.
