If I could do less I would. We have a home that we have lived in since 2011 that has been insured by State Farm through Mr. Kirkman’s office. Mr. Kirkman had no issue with calling me in (literally physically into the office because it “couldn’t be done otherwise” to up our insurance to include “umbrella insurance”) please understand, this is a scam. Also, we have been paying 1200 for most of our 15+ years and now almost 3k a year for recent premiums and they won’t replace our roof. I’m sorry but why pay for insurance that clearly will never be used. We are having to pay well over 12k out of pocket even though we have house insurance to cover this. Why!!???????????

I will start out by saying Dustin Kirkman and his team are outstanding! I highly recommend anyone looking to switch insurance or not happy with their current agent switch to Dustin and his team. They are an elite group who fight for their customers and care about customers. Absolutely awesome!
We had hailstorm damage from a March 2025 storm that damaged our new roof and soft metals. The damage was so widespread in the area that State Farm contracted a company out of Texas to assess the damage to customers’ property. My first adjuster stated the roof was a total loss and we also had a lot of fascia, gutter, and downspout damage. This statement was directly in front of family and my roofing contractor. Montel asked, give him a few weeks to get everything entered and for us to start getting replacement estimates. Fast forward a couple of weeks and I received a report that stated the damage was not enough to make a claim. I was shocked and irritated. I called the adjuster and asked him what the deal was, and he stated after he was called into a meeting with State Farm and further looking at photos on a computer screen the damage was not as bad as it seemed when he was there with the damage right in front of him. He called it shingle bruising which was a lot of the same with other customers in my area. I’m in construction for 27 years and know that was not true. This was totally crawfish move because of the number of claims throughout the US. I had punch through on my shingles with the backside of the shingle damaged! My agent at the time was not on the ball or fighting for us. This is where I found Dustin and switched agents. Man was this a critical move! Immediately Dustin and Laney were on top of it and was in the ring fighting for my claim. Dustin made three trips out to my home and climbed up on my roof to see the damage and confronted the adjusters each time they came out to inspect. I watched Dustin work with the adjusters, and he literally called them out on the previous inspections and pointed out damage. In the background Laney was pushing and following up with State Farm on the documents and dealing with their disorganization and poor communication. Laney was on it! A few months later with Dustin and Laney advising me to continue to be patient paid off. They were successful in getting my full roof replacement and all damaged metal replaced! Dustin and his team have been so positive and understanding throughout the entire 6-month process even when I was not so pleasant to deal with.
