I wish I could give zero stars for my experience on October 22, 2025. I stopped by for a frozen chai and kindly asked the staff at the drive through if they could add whipped cream. My drink was handed back to a manager, who then returned without the whipped cream and told me, in a very rude and hostile tone, that I hadn’t asked for it.
Her demeanor was completely unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable and insecure. I calmly explained that I had simply hoped they would add the whipped cream, but by that point, I was already hesitant to let her handle my drink any further because of how she was behaving. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of still taking it.
When I took my last sip, I suddenly felt a slimy substance slide down my throat. It happened too fast for me to react or spit it out. Since then, I’ve been left with a strange slimy sensation stuck in my throat that I can’t get rid of. This is extremely alarming, and I am genuinely concerned about what was in that drink.
I was initially going to let this go, but given how serious this feels, I have no choice but to escalate this. This is completely unacceptable, especially coming from a manager, who should set the example for professionalism and respect.
I’ve worked in multiple fast-food chains myself and was always taught that customers come first and no matter the situation, to stay professional. I have never witnessed or experienced such disrespect and negligence.
To make matters worse, this isn’t the first disappointing experience I’ve had at this location they are often slow, careless with orders, and fail to follow basic instructions. I should’ve trusted my gut and avoided returning, but I didn’t expect something this disturbing to happen.
I expect a full investigation into this matter, including reviewing the security footage and verifying how my drink was handled. I also want to be contacted immediately regarding next steps.
Never again will I be investing in this chain if this is how customers are continued to be treated and served.
