I stopped in and ordered something very simple: a large iced chai latte with no ice (so it wouldn’t be watered down over time) and oat milk, since I’m lactose intolerant. Instead of a straightforward transaction, I was met with attitude from the employee taking my order, as if I was making an unreasonable or suspicious request.
When my drink came out, it was wrong. Instead of oat milk, regular milk had been used. This isn’t a matter of personal preference. I physically cannot drink it without getting sick. When I pointed out the mistake, I was told the drink was “too large” to remake, and the issue was brushed off like it wasn’t important. The dismissiveness and lack of concern were genuinely disappointing.
In the end, I walked out with a $6 drink I couldn’t touch, along with the clear impression that customer satisfaction, or even basic courtesy, wasn’t a priority here. Mistakes happen, but how they’re handled is what defines good service. Unfortunately, in this case, it was handled poorly from start to finish.
I hope management addresses the training and professionalism of their staff, because right now, this location is falling far short of the standard customers deserve.
