My experience went like this...
Me- (after waiting for an extremely loud blender to stop, and for the girl to turn around and see that I was actually at the counter) Hi! Can I please get the sweet pepper bacon sandwich meal with a coffee?
Her- coffee? Hot or iced?
Me- Yes, a medium French vanilla iced coffee, please.
Her- Cream and sugar?
Me- Cream and 1 Splenda, please.
Her- Ok, that's $3.70
Me- (After I had just paid for it and it sunk in) Wait, I wanted the Sweet pepper bacon sandwich meal.
Her- Goes to get another employee because it seems like there's most likely a language barrier, and she's unsure of what to do.
New girl comes up, and I repeat myself for the 3rd time.
Her- So, you want the $6 meal deal?
Me- Sure, I guess? I just want to get the Sweet pepper bacon sandwich as a meal with the coffee she just made.
At this point they get the manager involved as well because they don't know how to charge me the difference. I pay for said "meal deal", not realizing that the sandwich I want isn't even offered as the meal deal!
While I'm waiting for my food, I taste my coffee, and there's no French vanilla flavoring in it. She rang me up for a regular iced coffee. So, I ask them to fix it, and they did.
I go sit at a table and start with my hash browns. Open my sandwich, and it's a SAUSAGE EGG AND CHEESE CROISSANT! 😠🤦♀️
So, the manager proceeds to tell me that the sandwich I want isn't offered as a meal. I explained that I didn't realize what it was when she offered it. I thought she was offering it because it was actually a thing. Not my fault that I repeated myself over and over again and my order was STILL WRONG. But, I wasn't getting the correct sandwich until I paid another $4 and change. I also explained that I'm in the restaurant industry, and understand how things work, and that it's absolutely ridiculous that I'm now paying the difference for something THEY got wrong! The correct course of action is to just replace my sandwich. The only difference between them is the type of meat, and possibly the cheese!
Talk about backwards customer service... They could've kept the "extra/free" side of hash browns. That didn't make me feel better. Will probably never come to this location ever again. 🙄🙄🙄
