Absolutely Awful Experience — Rude, Careless, and Zero Customer Service.
I honestly can’t remember the last time I left a review like this, but this Dunkin’ Donuts experience was so bad that people deserve to be warned before spending a penny here.
We stopped by around 6am—no one else in line, completely quiet—and what should’ve been a simple, happy morning turned into an unbelievably frustrating experience. I had two little girls with me, both excited for their very first trip to Dunkin’ Donuts. I even mentioned that to the woman taking our order, thinking maybe she’d show a little patience or kindness. Instead, she acted like we were inconveniencing her just by being there. She was snappy, short, and obviously rushing us, despite the fact that there was no one behind us.
By the time we got to the window, her attitude got even worse. I asked for a few extra napkins—anyone who’s ever had kids and donuts knows that’s a fair and reasonable request. Her exact response: “There’s some in the bag.” I looked—two napkins for three people, two of whom are small children. Really? That’s just lazy and disrespectful.
Then I opened the bag and saw the mess she made of our order. One long john donut was literally thrown on top of a Boston crème, smearing all the frosting off and sticking them together into a gooey mess. It looked like it had been carelessly tossed into the bag without a second thought. That’s not just sloppy—it’s gross and unprofessional.
And if that wasn’t enough, when she handed me the bag, she barely looked at me, basically threw it out the window, and immediately slammed the window shut without even a “thank you” or “have a nice day.” I had to honk my horn just to get her attention again to ask for a straw for the iced coffee we’d ordered. The complete lack of basic courtesy was unreal.
We had come out early that morning to celebrate a special occasion—a fun little treat before the day started—and instead we were met with rudeness, carelessness, and total disregard for customers. My girls were confused and disappointed, and honestly, I was angry. No paying customer deserves to be treated that way, especially when they’re polite and patient.
I’ve had plenty of good Dunkin’ experiences in the past, but this one was beyond unacceptable. The employee at this location clearly doesn’t care about her job or the people she’s serving. If she’s that miserable to customers, maybe she shouldn’t be working in customer service.
This whole experience left such a bad taste in my mouth that I doubt I’ll ever return to this location again. If you value basic respect, friendly service, or even a correctly handled order, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. There are too many other coffee shops out there that actually appreciate their customers.
Absolutely shameful behavior.
