  I had a great experience with the owner and the project manager before doing the actual work (box sill insulation). They were realistic about what would benefit my space and weren’t pushy about upselling. I had one issue that they rectified fairly quickly, which is that their crew foam insulated around the dryer vent, which was something the project manager said was a hazard (I had foam around it during the bid walkthrough). The crew came back to remove it later and insulated appropriately with rockwool around it. Though I’m satisfied with the work, I’m unsatisfied with the lack of follow through after the fact. I was told that I would receive an energy report outlining how airtight my home is that I’ve never received after months of calls and emails. I was told to be patient and yet still haven’t received the report or any responses back from multiple emails and voicemails. I’m not sure if it’s because they didn’t actually do the report or what’s going on. Either way, it’s unfortunate to not have what I was promised and not have the records for my home. The work was done is May.

  Wonderful company to work with for home insulation. We had to stop and restart our project and then deal with a couple stray dogs the day of insulation. The crew handled all of the challenges professionally. Hard working. Excellent quality of products. Thank-you so much for your flexibility and honesty.

  I've called over 45 contractors during the duration of our home project (thus far) and Nic from Duerst has been the best experience by a landslide! The attention to detail, care, recommendations, and education around energy rebates are just a few things to note. He not only has been working with me for insulation, but also went above and beyond and provided other contractor recommendations and contacts that we still need for the project. My trust in Nic and Duerst Insulation is through the roof and i'm thrilled to continue working with them!

  Long overdue positive response - great company to work with! They raised the concrete on our driveway and back patio. They are clear in their communication and do good work. The estimate they provided was slightly higher than other companies, but we chose them because they seemed more knowledgeable and trustworthy. Only thing I would have changed is to request that the workers who came onsite communicated with us once the job was complete.

  My driveway is on a slight hill and was sliding away from the house. I thought I would have to redo it, but then I heard about adjusting it with FOAM! My driveway is EVEN for the first time in years! Fast, quality and arrived early. Was able to drive on it by the time I was home from work. Saved me thousands! Can't recommend them enough! Will certainly be using them again for the front walkway!
