- MPMary PeddyJul 31, 20253.0DSW, San Diego, was OK. It was getting there/back that was difficult and I'll never do it again. The back entrance was locked, so we couldn't enter through the back parking lot. We took the narrow escalator up to the front entrance, and about halfway up, the escalator started shaking like an earthquake. After shopping, I couldn't get on the down-elevator. It was very narrow and moving fast. I just couldn't let myself get on. We walked down the way to the elevator which was out of order. We then had to take the double stairway down. I'm disabled, and it was difficult. I will never put myself through that again. If they choose to lock the back entrance, they should ensure that the front entrance is safely accessible. Their liability for injuries is great with no elevator access, and the narrow, fast escalator.
