  I had an outstanding experience at DSW thanks to Kristen! From the moment I walked in, she greeted me with a warm smile and genuine enthusiasm. I was looking for a specific style of shoes and wasn’t quite sure what I needed, but Kristen was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the entire process. She took the time to listen to what I was looking for, offered great suggestions, and even checked in the back for sizes that weren’t on the floor. Her attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile made all the difference. I never felt rushed or pressured—just supported. It’s rare these days to receive such friendly and personalized service, and Kristen truly made my shopping experience enjoyable and stress-free. I’ll definitely be returning to this location because of the amazing service she provided. Thank you, Kristen!

  I have attended countless shoe stores over my retail life and the DSW location in Barrie has the most extensive selection of footwear I have ever encountered Men Women's and Kids ... incredibly organized and as neat as a pin ... Had the absolute pleasure of being checked out by Kristen who went over the top with the check out experience even taking the time to install the characters on our granddaughters new crocks .... who does that today ? Amazed and Impressed ... a must stop just off of Mapleview in Barrie !

  Always find what I need. The most organized shoe store! Staff are always friendly and helpful when needed. I honestly enjoy the fact that they let you shop around with out bothering you like a typical shoe store. When I can’t find my size, the staff have offered to help order them for me. Will definitely continue to shop there!

  This is a great store, one of the better ones I've seen, staff is super friendly and helpful. The Manager was amazing and helped me find the perfect pair of shoes for my daughter. Very organized and full of stock. I will be back again..

  Absolutely horribly rude girl at the front. I bought a pair of shoes and asked if they hurt my feet and arent dirty or damaged can I return them and they said yes. I wore them for 20 minutes indoor, made my feet sore do I come back to then be told I can only get in store credit while getting horrible attitude from this girl with all these piercings. So I asked the manager who was gladly able to return them... I then told the girl to learn how to speak to people and service, the manager Scott proceeds to follow me out yelling at me that he didnt have to return them. I told him to train his staff how to speak to people or tell customers wrong policy. This guy puffs his chest out at me telling me telling me his staff are amazing, asking what my job is and why I'm upset over 40$. So I state, what are you gonna do about it buddy. And he says "you are lucky I'm not working right now". Tough guy. Just can't take any sort of responsibility for the terrible service.
