I love coming to shop discounted area. But I truly dread coming up to the register. Every associate I come in contact are usually really rude. I say hi how are you and I get a smirk and ignored. Comments like oh you have small feet... And when I pay I HAND her cash. While having my hand out she slaps the change on the table... my hands just there like ... okay lol I didn't know what to but smile at her.. so awkward... I came so friendly not sure what's the deal? Maybe she still has an immature mentality? 🤔 shes like pissed being at work? 😭 like what if I acted like a Karen I'd 100% get it but girl i came in a good mood hopefully it rubbed off lol

Ordered and waited for an in-store pickup. 6 hrs later still no status update. Tried to call, can’t get someone on the phone, awful phone system. Went to the store, all of the employees were up front doing nothing but chatting. Asked about my order and they finally went to fulfill it. I decided to shop around and found some slides on sale, when I went up front the items scanned in incorrectly, instead of going to check the sign they argued that I was wrong, I had to go get the sign myself and show them that I was right. They then did the ohhhhh, okay moment. Three employees and none of them seemed like they cared to do their job including the leader. Cared more about hanging around and chatting than working might want to get some proper leadership.

I've shopped here numerous times and never felt some type of way about this location until today. They have a nice large selection of footwear - although not enough wide options. One employee answered a question and offered to help if I needed additional support. Employee who took care of me at the register was fine too. However, my issue is with the brother working as security who was grilling me and basically following me around. I don't know if one of the employees said something or what, but I even tested the water and went to the clearance section last... of course, he pops up like the butler in Mr. deed's. Jokes aside, especially since he's a brother and I'm confident he's likely been racial profiled before, I'm not feeling it even after leaving and getting back home. Likely returning both pair of shoes tonight or tomorrow and going to the outlets in assembly row. I get it, he's doing his job but if its to the point where your good paying customers are feeling uncomfortable, something is off. #Shoppingwhileblack
