DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse is where Shoe Lovers go to find brands and styles that are in season and on trend. Each store features 25,000+ pairs of designer shoes for men and women from brands like Nike, Cole Haan, Sperry Top-Sider, Puma, Dr. Scholls, New Balance, TOMS, Vince Camuto and more. And shoes are just the beginning. Handbags, accessories, and kids’ shoes are also there—ready for customers to find just what they need. Plus, our free Rewards program, DSW Rewards, gives perks to its members (like Rewards certificates, offers, and other great stuff). Just shop, earn, and enjoy—it’s as easy as that. Because shoes say a lot about you—so say something great.
DSW (Designer Shoe Warehouse) Inc. is a leading branded footwear and accessories retailer that offers a huge selection of brand name and designer footwear and accessories for women, men, and kids. DSW opened its first store in July 1991 in Dublin, Ohio, and has since grown to operate more than 400 stores across the United States, as well small format shop-in-shop locations.
The DSW brand promise is “Designer shoes. Warehouse prices.” and the company delivers an experience of “breathtaking assortment, irresistible value, and simple convenience.” DSW stores average approximately 22,000 square feet and stock nearly 25,000 pairs of shoes per location.
I stopped by DSW around 7:56 PM, fully aware the store closes at 8 PM. I just wanted to take a quick look and was out before closing time.
As I came down the escalator, an annoyed-looking employee yelled across the store that they were closing in three minutes — no greeting, no “welcome to DSW,” and no offer to help me find anything before they closed. It felt unnecessarily rude and unprofessional.
When I left (still before 8 PM), the same employee was too busy on her phone to notice or acknowledge me. No “thank you” or “have a good night.”
If this is the kind of customer service you get close to closing, I’d recommend skipping the in-store experience and just shopping online instead.

I like the selection of shoes but feel like I always get ripped off one way or another at this location. Last time I went they said they were no longer offering bags so made me buy a $5 bag as I had no other way to carry my shoes. This time I asked for recs of waterproof sprays and salesperson recommended their store spray as best and cheapest option but didn't tell me all that meant was them spraying the shoes for me, so I still need to purchase a spray for regular use and definitely won't be giving them more of my money.

I’ve been coming here for many years but this location has really gone downhill unfortunately. It was hard to make a purchase because you now have to ask an associate to get the right shoe for you (they only keep the left ones out on the floor). They seemed really understaffed and it felt like the associates were avoiding the customers.

If you’re a woman and need to use the bathroom, be aware they don’t let you enter the code yourself - they have a random male employee enter the code and open the door FOR you. Made me feel really weird and uncomfortable. Left without buying anything
