In the past, I have always loved shopping at this location. However, lately the store front has been very messy, disorganized, less friendly staff, and difficult to find any staff on the floor working.
One interaction in particular really impacted my 1-star score. This involved me ordering my yearly DSW perk to be delivered to the store. I did forget about this and it sat at the store for a few days longer than I had intended. When I received a reminder email, I went up to the store the next day. However, my bag was nowhere to be found and there was no history of it ever being at the store. Staff looked for it but was clueless what to do and there was no manager on site. They requested that I leave my contact info on some scrap piece of paper for the manager to call me later that week. So basically my trip to the store was worthless and the staff just shrugged me off.
In the parking lot I contacted corporate who was able to assist much better. They tried calling the store that I was just in multiple times and nobody would answer the phone. They were able to locate my order and see that it is at the store, after I was told it was not. The customer service rep put in an order for an “upgraded” bag and apologized for this inconvenience. Finally someone who was able to handle the situation appropriately.
I never did receive a call from the manager and will never get anything delivered to this store again. I hate to think that a staff member stole my free perk, but how else would it have just disappeared?

The cashier was pleasant and completed my transaction without a problem. Excellent!
