I bought this pair of shoes at DSW in the downtown of Boston. They were on sale from $110 to $67. I was very happy to buy them because I liked the style, but I didn't notice that the soles were a bit dirty. When I got home, I found that they were made of leather and rather hard, so I decided to return them. When I came here to return the shoes, the cashier insisted three or four times that I had worn them outside and then brought them back for a refund just because the soles were dirty. Who knows how many people have tried on this pair of shoes in the Boston store? How could she impose her own thoughts on others! I felt very insulted that she accused me of something I didn't do. Although the manager came to mediate and I got the shoes back, this experience still made me so sad that I couldn't sleep well all night. It also taught me a lesson that I must check the soles when buying shoes next time.

Not sure who the lady was but she was wearing black pants with a black top. I told her I was new to the store and when she kept repeating directions to me, she kept bending her knees and talking to me in a voice doctors do when conversing with children and she came off as passive-aggressive and bitchy.
