- SSSashaSep 2, 20251.0It's been about 3 years since I shopped at a DSW because I hate shopping, especially for shoes; I get overwhelmed easily. But there aren't many shoe shops any more & I desperately needed new shoes for work, so I did a quick walk through the store and picked up whatever I liked. One pair of clearance suede shoes I had chosen had a minor scuff mark on the side and carpet fibers all over the bottom, and you can tell they had been tried on, but still new, so I purchased them. I had to return them because they felt uncomfortable and looked old lady-ish after trying them on at home. Upon returning them, the sales clerk and her manager passively accused me of wearing the suade shoes. Asked me a list of questions like "its been two weeks, why did you wait so long to return them?"...the return policy is for 30days!!! NEVER IN MY LEFE!!!!! I was so embarrassed. Watching them turning each shoe around like they were investigating a crime weapon. Then telling me they won't be able to resale the shoes because they are "damaged". What???So I was sold "damaged" shoes without a major discount or anyone telling me they can't be returned because of the condition they were in. But to return them now they are "damaged" ???I was so upset. I am done with these large companies getting over on their customers & shame on all the people who do wear the items just to return it, you're giving these retailers reasons to get away with what they are doing. Never will anyone embarrass me like that again! I'm not shopping @DSW again. ( BTW, they did take the shoes back because CLEARLY they were not worn by the grooves on the bottom)
- PHPaul HarrisonJul 11, 20251.0Ordered 3 pairs of shoes on line for pick up. Got to the store. Sales women were extremely rude. Asking for 3 forms of id. Because people know you order shoes on line and them pick them up instead of you. After 45 min of waiting, I received an email my order was ready, I was told they didn't have any of the shoes I ordered in my size. Did I mention how rude the saleswoman was. They would cancel my order, 5 days and my order was not canceled. Had to call my cc company and dispute the charge. Do not shop at this store.
