- SWSista WalshOct 27, 20251.0Not happy. I purchased a pair of Berkinstocks at the short pump VA store. I went to return them 4 days later and they refused to let me return them and did everything short of calling me a liar. I bought the synthetic Berkinstocks because I try not to get my others wet. I have worn Berkinstocks for about 30 years. I wasn’t sure if I would like the synthetic pair so I wore them IN MY HOME only. They rubbed my toe and caused a blister so I took them back to the store. They insisted I had worn them outside which was not true. I am stuck with these shoes that I can’t wear. They do not “break in” like the other ones. So two things I learned DO NOT shop at DSW and stick to natural leather.

Called and inquired about it and was told I had to bring all the merchandise back or 2 items adding up to $89. What a waste and free bag doesn’t even cost that much. Wow is this how you treat your loyal customers!
