Edited to make sure my review shows up. I wanted to warn anybody suffering with any type of mental health issues away from this place, and it seems like I’m not the only one. I was a patient for years, never saw the same provider. They will not answer phone calls or emails. They will not even refill your prescriptions. Three times I withdrew off SSRIS for a few days because this place did not respond to my multiple calls, texts, emails for refills. THREE times. One time the pharmacist refilled it for a few days on an emergency basis because even he could see I was suffering. They blow off their appointments that they confirm. And FYI because I know a condescending review from the owner is coming, I did sign up for the portal and yet still she no showed to her own appointments. As someone suffering from depression and anxiety, seeking out a provider for help and then having them repeatedly be unpredictable is not an added stressor I need. I'm sure (eventually) some snide reply will be posted to this review. I thought there were no other options out there due to my insurance but have since found a psychiatric provider elsewhere and the difference is night and day. I just wanted anybody who may be reading this to know that there is better help out there. As a healthcare worker myself who is overworked and takes care of many, many patients regardless, I am outraged and horrified at how this "business" (if you can even call it that) is run. As others have also posted- you chose this profession and in your care are vulnerable people who need your HELP. Funny how all of their good reviews were left by interns and not actual patients. One star is too much for this place. HOPE IS OUT THERE <3
My daughter was a patient here and although Dr. J was very good, the providers that my daughter had were extremely unprofessional and didn't provide the support that she needed in her time of crisis. She had a different person at every visit and when she needed help she was referred to the emergency room because her provider "had to get to her next appointment". She needed to be put back on medication that she needed and this was not even an option at the time, just go to the Emergency room and then call us when you are discharged to set up another appointment. What is the point of having a Psychiatrist if number one you cannot reach them or they are slow in responding to requests, and two you are dismissed when you are in a mental crisis? I find this unacceptable, and poor patient care in a time when mental health is in crisis it seems your clinic is in crisis as well and has very poor skills when it comes to emergency matters. Even before her mental break, she felt like she wasn't being listened to and just prescribe medication that didn't help her, and when she brought this up it was dismissed.
I would never recommend this practice to anyone and would discourage anyone from becoming a patient .

They yell at me and are rude to me even though I have never raised my voice or said anything disrespectful to them, this place never answers emails or calls. I must call at least 5 times when they don’t send the link for my appointment and they don’t answer any, I went 1 month with no refills on my most important medication. Even a 1 star is too high for this place. Vile people with terrible service, nobody should be giving business. The reply the owner left should tell you what kind of service this is, I will never forget how awful these people were, if you’re going here for any genuine issues then I highly suggest you find somewhere else.
I am very grateful to Dr. J for agreeing to be my preceptor for my PMHNP internship despite her busy and full schedule, she is very knowledgeable and directed the overall goals and objectives for the practicum experience based on student outcome objectives. Dr. J. and Sherley assisted me in applying theory to practice utilized appropriate teaching methods to help me meet my learning objectives. They both ensured I practice independently, provided feedback and evaluated my performance to ensure that I achieved my practicum goals and learning objectives. BMPMHS is a beautiful practice, conducive to learning. The patient's are wonderful, I can not thank them enough for choosing BMPMHS for their mental health care needs. The administrative staffs, Taj, Keith, Daniella are very supportive and interested in all the interns success, they all made sure we have more than enough patient encounters across the life span.
Dr. J. and Sherley fully prepared me for my future practice as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I highly recommend Dr. J and BMPMHS clinical site to other PMHNP graduate student for their internship.
Thank you!

At first it was okay. When I started seeing Dr Jeaniton, the office has newly opened and there were very few patients. I suffered from major depression after the passing of my mother from a heart attack. It was sudden, I didn’t expect it (who does actually?), didn’t have the time to grieve as I moved from my home country to US shortly after her death.
I got admitted to an Ivy League school in Massachusetts and knew the pressure would be greater. After few weeks, months perhaps, Dr Jeaniton obviously got more patients and it became a typical “business”. No longer about care and compassion, but number of patients and appointments. It’s sad how quickly things have changed. I felt neglected, ignored, undermined and let to deal with my own problems.
