Store itself is very nice , sales people were knowledgeable and helpful . However the product itself is garbage. I bought Dr, Martens Oxford -made in England . I’ve only had them for 9 months and cracking 3 inches above shoelaces ( right and left shoe ) . I was told that they are made very well and would last … not true . More times than not - quality doesn’t always = how much you pay for an item . I called the store and they could not do anything so they gave me an email . I attempted to email Dr, Martens with picture and never received a response . By the way I paid 210.00 for the shoes . This is a one and done for me . It's not about the money , I just wanted to acknowledged as a customer.

Fantastic in-store service after a less-than-perfect online experience
My wife has wanted a pair of Doc Martens forever, but after we had a not-so-great experience trying to buy them online, she was wary. She had purchased a pair for our niece and herself for Christmas, but only my nieces arrived. Even after submitting a picture of the half-packed order, DocM customer service told us we were out of luck.. not excellent for such a profitable company.
HOWEVER!!! I convinced her to head to the retail location, and the attentive, welcoming experience from the staff was incredible. The sales associate was terrific, and her suggestions for the Italian leather boot to minimize boot break-in blues were on point! I wish I got her name because she was delightful! We left with new boots, rainbow laces (wife's favorite color), and a new purse with sturdy buckles.
Doc Martens's online services could learn a lot about how to treat customers from their retail staff.

Sergio was so kind & helpful in finding me the right work shoe. I had to leave and come back another day and he remembered me. He gave me advice on the fitting and how to break them in, and ensured I got a fair price. Thank you, Sergio!
