  *Knowledgable. *Dedicated. *Excellent communicator. *Compassionate. *Realistic. *TOUGH. I hired Donna after having some issues with my previous legal counsel and it was the best move I ever made. From the moment she took me on, I felt at ease. She knows her stuff and, more importantly, knows how to navigate in the Nashville court system. On one Saturday during my divorce process, she was sitting in legal meetings. Not with her firm, but voluntarily at a seminar offered by the judge that might be hearing our case. She is tedious in her preparation and wanted to make sure she understand that judge’s legal philosophy to help me get a more favorable verdict. COMMUNICATION with her is A+. She is both compassionate but also realistic in the advice she gives. I almost felt sorry for my ex-wife because she didn’t have a lawyer like Donna. But, I’m glad that we didn’t have to go up against another ‘Donna!’

  Donna was very knowledgeable and responsive to any questions or requests I had. I always got a call or email back promptly. She was professional and kind. My case was handled quickly and with very minimal hassle. Would use again and would recommend to my closest family and friends!

  Donna helped me divorce my ex as easy as possible - even with me temporarily living out of state & him being out of the country on deployment (he is Army & his home of record is TN). She helped make a very painful experience a little less terrible by providing insight, rationality, & support in our uncontested split. Although my ex-husband had an ugly affair on me while I was pregnant, Donna continued to encourage me to remain in as good of standing as possible for the kids & the coparenting course I took was easy to navigate as well as very helpful. I have recommended her to my friend who used her in his divorce as well. She will do right by you & what is best for the family/kids!

  She was a pleasure to work with and helped me through a difficult time in my life where I felt my world was crumbling around me. She was there every step of the way answering all my questions and supporting me. I hope no one ever needs a lawyer but if you do go see Donna Tees she is the best at what she does

  Donna is amazing! I can’t say enough great things about her and how helpful she was throughout every process of my divorce. She had very quick responses to all my emails, explained everything very straightforward, and had my back the whole way. Donna took a super hard process, and made it go as smoothly as possible. I knew she was fighting for me and protecting my kids through it all! She is so knowledgeable and knew what and how to respond to everything from my ex and his lawyer. She will defend you and not play games from the other side, she knows what is a concern and what to not worry about. Donna eased my nerves and answered even the smallest question or worry promptly. I will use her again and again for anything I need in the future for after divorce issues like custody and parenting plan. I know she will advocate for me and my children just like she has done the whole time!
