  The tacos are amazing I went for a baseball tournament for 4 days and went there almost every night

  There are a lot of Lake bars around here, but I feel that Dog Days is one of the best, if not the best. They have a relaxed atmosphere. I have a lot of outdoor seating and a fair amount of indoor seating. The staff has always been very friendly and attentive the food never disappoints. Nothing too fancy, but always fresh and delicious.

  The only reason I gave 4 stars is I have alpha gal and they had no poultry that is cooked on a different grill than other meats. Meaning I couldn't eat nothing except a boring salad. Nothing else was available for my meal.

  We were going for the atmosphere, not the food. Based on this, they receive 5 stars. Food would be 3.5-4 stars. The ahi tuna was great but the nachos, not so much.

  So we use to enjoy coming here. Yes truly started about 7 years when we bought our second home at Ozarks. Now please understand we get it when busy. But lately we have avoided this place cause of other issues. Tonight on 9/19/25. They had the boat show and sadly hardly busy. We sat at upper level bar. First we had to ask for a menu, then the waitress walked by us, never acknowledged us. Went on at least 4 times. Wait for it! She attended last one on end and we were the only other couple on that area. The food look amazing and we truly wanted to give another chance, and yes people might not like this post. But sorry it is the truth. Very disappointed.
