  Went to a traveling Gem show and admittance was $10, really didn’t find anything interesting so I visited Dixie Gem after, no price to look around and their samples rivaled the show. The brothers are a bit eccentric but that’s who they are!

  The gentlemen running the store were very nice and happy to talk about the items they had. They had a lot of very cool fossils, polished and rough stones, and crystals. You could tell they really enjoy what they do. There is also some educational facts around the shop. Not everything is "for sale", but those are clearly marked and still where you can see and enjoy their natural beauty. Definitely going back.

  I went all around town today and Dixie Gem hands down has the best prices as well as an excellent collection of crystals, gems, and fossils. They were very helpful and knowledgeable about their wares, offering me recommendations based on what I was interested in. It was obvious that they have a true passion for rocks and fossils, which makes me trust that everything in the shop is genuine. I love supporting businesses where the owners love what they do and will definitely come here again.

  The best place ever to buy genuine crystal gems like no joke it’s the best in Greenville the owners are so sweet too and very very knowledgeable also they have such great fair prices. I will only be shopping here for my crystals moving forward.

  Was so exited at first to see a gem store on my vacation to this area. I read that it was local owned, wanted to support small business. As we entered, an older gentleman walked up to ask if we were enjoying the abnormal heat suggesting it was due to our current president's hot air that he was blowing. My response was that there's a lot of hot air being blown everywhere, then I walked away from him in an attempt to look at the gemstones. I felt immediately accosted about politics while trying to enjoy a local gem store. The store was dirty and dusty and prices were somewhat fair on some items, but inconsistently abnormally high on other items. As I continue to browse, the same gentleman walked back up to me to tell me a story about how the hurricane that occurred in North Carolina, Florida and Saint Croix last year were caused by our president we well. At that point, my friend put the item she was going to purchase back on the shelf, and we walked out. Business employees and business employees should not bring it politics or conspiracy theories to their customers, regardless of who or what the topic is. His insistence on slamming the current presidental administration was obsessive and the way he followed us in the store set off a high degree of creep factor. Very disappointed.
