Had this place on my Food list for quite some time so big back me had decided to be the first person there when they open at 10 I ordered a breakfast burrito and Al Pastor taco I believe I’m met the owner there because he was training someone and he ended up blessing me with the practice taco so I even got more than what I expected, which is always a plusvery clean and quiet in there. It was nice you just order from the kiosk what you want

Great place! A little on the pricy side though. I love that they are so transparent about their ingredients, so my son with food allergies was able to safely eat.

FIRST TIME.
very disappointed don’t know if I will go to this location again. Maybe try the food somewhere else.
Young girl with black hair made my order and completely just didn’t do it correctly. The place was not busy for her to have gotten the order wrong.
Protein Vida Bowl with barbacoa

Delicious food, but terrible service.
I visited District Taco in Norfolk yesterday around 6:45 pm, and what should have been a quick, easy dinner turned into a frustrating experience.
Here’s where the problem began: there was an employee on the line—a girl with short hair and a hat. When our ticket printed and the machine started beeping, she completely ignored it. Instead, she stood there holding her phone in one hand and half-heartedly wiping something down with the other, showing zero interest in helping.
Finally, another employee came back out from the back and started making our order. She was the only one actually working while her coworker just stood by, uninterested. Even though we were the only customers in the restaurant, we still had to wait 10 minutes for our food.
The girl making our tacos was polite and apologized for the wait, but she should never have been left to handle everything on her own. This is a customer service job, you cannot run a restaurant with one person working and another scrolling on their phone. That’s poor management.
The tacos themselves were delicious, but the service was unacceptable. District Taco, step up your game, you’re better than this.
District Taco is a quality Mexican (Yucatan style!) fast-casual restaurant serving up fresh, simple, and healthy food! All of our food is made fresh daily from quality ingredients. Not to mention, it’s delicious!
How was District Taco started?
In 2009, two neighbors got together over some homemade chips, salsa and guacamole and decided to launch District Taco as a food truck. District Taco has since grown and now operates multiple brick and mortar locations in Washington, DC, Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.
Are vegetarian/vegan/gluten free options available?
Of course! Check out our menu at districttaco.com for more detailed information. Please notify your catering representative or cashier of any vegans in your group. HINT: vegetarian friendly breakfast options are available all day
Which is better: flour or corn?
Both tortillas are absolutely delicious, but we have found that flour tortillas tend to stay fresh for longer periods of time, and typically recommend them for catering orders.
I have an allergy. How do I know what I can eat?
Check out our Special Diet Information on our website at www.districttaco.com. Please don’t hesitate contact us here should you still have questions and we will happily assist you!
There was something wrong with my order. How do I get this resolved?
Please submit a contact form here and a member of our Customer Service team will get back to you within 24 hours or within the next business day. You can also email us at taco@districttaco.com. We appreciate any customer feedback and want to make any mistakes right as soon as possible.
Do you have online ordering?
Si! We want to make it easy for you to skip the line and enjoy your tacos! Our app is linked to online ordering, so our customers can earn rewards, too.
Who should I contact to ask questions or place a catering order?
Please submit an inquiry on our catering page at districttaco.com with your basic event details and questions. Our catering office is open Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm; if you have any inquiries outside of those times, we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Do you need advance notice for a catering order?
Order details and payment must be finalized by 3pm the previous business day at the latest. Availability is limited so we recommend that you submit your order request ASAP, especially for larger orders. Once your request is received, our team will check availability, work to coordinate the order, send an invoice, and request credit card information.
How are catering orders packaged, served, presented, etc.?
Tacos are wrapped individually with pre-portioned proteins inside the tortilla. Select toppings (e.g. various salsas, pico de gallo, etc.) are served on the side so your guests can help themselves. Everything will be packaged in separate containers. We include chaffing dishes, a selection of toppings and sides, and your choice of tacos or salads. Each package is designed for approximately 10 people
Can I do a tasting of your catering?
Yes! Just stop by one of our restaurants and try a few tacos.
Are utensils included?
Yes. Plates, napkins, serving and eating utensils are included free of charge.
Is there a minimum for catering orders?
For pickup, a subtotal of $100. For delivery, see below For a pick-up order, the minimum group size is 10 people
Can the catering order be delivered?
Si! The delivery fee is equal to the greater of $50 or 10% of the subtotal. In order to qualify for delivery, an order must reach a minimum of $200. Please fill out the catering inquiry form at districttaco.com to check availability.
Is there a cancellation policy for catering orders?
Orders canceled after 3pm the previous business day will be charged a fee equal to 50% of the order cost. If you need to make last minute adjustments, we will do our best to accommodate. Outside of our office hours, please feel free to contact the restaurant directly.
