  Beware, the warranty is not honored! The prices are good but if you purchase a reconditioned tool here you are on your own if it fails even if it is within the 12 month warranty period for recon tools. I purchased a reconditioned battery charger in August of 2024, it failed in April of 2025. I had the original receipt and order number. I called the store they said call Ryobi customer support and they would send a free shipping label to get it sent in for repair. I called Ryobi customer support and they said call their authorized repair shop near Lansing MI and they would send me a free shipping label after troubleshooting the item. I called the Ryobi Authorized Repair shop and the nice lady said no problem just drive to Lansing (3+ hours away) and drop it off for repair. She almost started laughing when I said that Ryobi told me the repair shop would pay for the return! So, I called back to Direct Tools at Birch Run and the person took my name and number and said he would work on it for me and get back with me. That was about 2 weeks ago and I never heard from him. I tried calling him twice but he was always "unavailable." Bottom line: Its not worth driving 3+ hours to get a $45 item repaired/replaced. Who knows what they would say when I got there anyway but I would probably be more disappointed than I already am.
