I am a realtor with 25 years in the business. I have seen many driveways up close. The job was superb! I was very impressed that the owner actually ran the crew. His machine skills amazed me. He did exactly what we talked about and far exceeded my expectations. His price was more than fair! I will be recommending him to all my clients going forward!

Jeff and his crew paved my entire driveway and installed a new drainage trench. The price was good and comparable to other contractors, meeting Jeff the first time I realized he is a straight shooter and someone I would hire. The crew was very respectful to my family, my property and my neighbors. The work came out perfect, pitched properly, smooth and edges taken care of with new loam. It was professional from start to finish. I highly recommend Diamond Paving.

Jeff and the crew at Diamond Paving were excellent to work with. I added some extra site / dirt work to level off the lawn on the side of my house along with the driveway work. The crew handled it with ease and it looks phenomenal. I have already recommended them to a friend and will continue to do so. Jeff was also able to add a slight pitch so that all the running water from heavy rains will drain off to the side/woods, previously it all pooled at my garage door. Thanks so much for the great work, improved the curb appeal of my home.

What is the difference between driveway sealcoating and driveway resurfacing?
The key difference between resurfacing/rehabilitation and sealcoating is that resurfacing/rehabilitation is a structural repair that can significantly increase the lifespan of your asphalt surface. This involves patching any necessary areas and applying a new layer of hot bituminous asphalt, typically between 1 ½” to 3". On the other hand, sealcoating does not address structural issues and can be compared to painting your house. While sealcoating can protect and extend the life of your asphalt, it does not correct any underlying structural problems. As a result, sealcoating is typically much less expensive than resurfacing.
How long does Driveway and Parking Lot Paving typically last?
Asphalt Driveways typically have a lifespan of around 15 to 20 years. However regular maintenance, such as sealing anf filling cracks, can extend its durability.
When Is the Best Time of the Year for Asphalt Driveway and Parking Lot Paving?
For the best results, Spring, Summer or Fall because the ground must be dry and not frozen.
What are some maintenance tips to extend the lifespan of an Asphalt Driveway?
To extend the lifespan of an asphalt driveway, here are some maintenance tips to consider.
1. Regular Cleaning: Keep the surface of your asphalt driveway clean by removing debris, leaves,or dirt. Use a broom or leaf blower to sweep away loose materials regularly. This prevents the buidup of debris that can lead to deterioration.
2. Sealcoating: Apply a sealcoat every 2-3 years to protect the aspahlt from UV Rays, water penetration, and other damaaging elements. Sealcoating helps to prevent crack, fading and oxidation, and it also enhances the overall appearance of the driveway.
3. Repair Cracks Promptly: Promptly repair any cracks or small potholes using quality asphalt patching compound. This prevents water from seeping into the cracks and causing further damage.
4. Avoid Heavy Loads: Avoid parking heavy vehicles or placing heavy objects, such as dumpsters or trailers on your asphalt driveway for extended periods. Excessive weight can cause the asphalt to crack or sink.
5. Protect Against Chemicals: Avoid using chemicals such as gasoline, oil,or de-icing agents, on the surface of the asphalt. These substances can break down the asphalt and cause damage. If spills occur, clean them up immediately.
6. Prevent Water Accumulation: Ensure proper drainage around your drieway to prevent water from pooling or flowing towards the pavement. Water can weaken the asphalt and lead to cracks or potholes. Ensure that gutters and downspouts direct waater away from the driveway.
