  I moved into this house spring 2024 and had the hot water side knob on the tub replaced because a wrench was being used by the previous tenant to turn it on and off. Soon after the knob wouldn't turn the water off completely because it went past the point of gripping. Dewey plumbers came again and "fixed" it. He said I was turning the knob too hard when shutting it off. I knew that wasnt true. Its akways the same side Soon after the knob stripped again. Another plumber came and said it was a universal knob that shuts off in the middle. Second time my intelligence was insulted. It's a two knob faucet and its always the hot water side. He finally said he would order a part. This was July of this year. They charge every time they come out and its been over a year since they were called and since July they ordered a part. At what point does it become criminal?

  I hired Dewey & Sons Plumbing to install a water softener on February 5, 2025. They picked out and provided the water softener. During installation, the plumber discovered that the control panel was defective — specifically, the down button required excessive force to function, making programming difficult. I was told a replacement control panel would be ordered immediately. That never happened. For over a month, I called weekly to follow up. Not once did the owner, Chad Dewey, return my calls or provide any update that suggested the problem would be resolved in a timely manner. After six weeks of silence, I sent a registered letter detailing the issue, the number of times I’d reached out, and requesting resolution within six more weeks. No response. Despite the unresolved defect and complete lack of communication, I was still billed for the installation. I initially withheld payment in hopes of prompting a resolution, but ultimately paid — nearly three months later — just to settle the balance, as it was clear I was getting nowhere. It has now been almost three months since installation, and I’ve received no part, no timeline, and no effort from Dewey & Sons to make this right. The lack of professionalism and accountability is unacceptable. I strongly advise others to look elsewhere for reliable and responsive plumbing services.

  Stop don't use this company I had a drain clogged up in my kitchen and they sent their professional out who spent 5 hours doing nothing used a broken down snake for 15 minutes and left problem not solved but called and talked to Todd who says his employees are great and can do no wrong had Jason the plumber out the next day who fixed it in less than an hour. He is the one you need to call. This company is the worst company around here and they will take your money

  Very poor customer service. Several years back called them to add a gas line for a fireplace insert, they said they were busy and it would be about 6 weeks. I said that was fine but never received a call back. Now several months back I decide to give them a call again for a leaking pipe under my house, they sent someone out to look at it. They told me after seeing the problem it would be a couple days until they could get back to fix it since it would require an additional technician to get into the tighter spots under my house. Fast forward several months and I still have not heard back from them. I called several times and they apologized and and said they would get me on the schedule. All it takes is a call to keep me updated but they couldn’t even do that. I called another plumber and my problem was fixed in several days. I called them in the first place because a family member said they were the ones to call. They must be making enough that they can pick and choose the jobs they want.

  Ridiculous that they don’t ever give a day and time to go to a job, and give a BS excuse that they need to tend to emergency jobs first… so you have daily… all day emergency jobs for the last 3-4 weeks… no call back, no one has followed up. My job is a 10 min job probably and keeps getting disregarded..
