  Our server Dwayne mistakenly charged our credit card for another party's table. We asked for the charges to be reversed or removed. Our server Dwayne stated it takes 24 hours for the reverse to occur. Dwayne stated the manager wasn't available to reverse the charges. After paying for the correct receipt, we were told the manager will remove the second party's meal/charges within 15 minutes. We also left our contact information for staff to confirm that the charges were reversed/removed. We never recieved a return phone call. We also left a voice mail for the manager. Day 1(Thurs), pending, day 2(Fri) posted, day 3(Sat) posted. The charges werent reversed. We returned the 3rd day to discover the same guy we saw sitting at a table on day 1 was the manager. We asked to speak with the manager. We asked for the charges of the other party's meal to be removed again. The manager Yohannes stated he was busy Friday and there was a glitch in the system indicating the reason the removal of charges wasn't completed... We were lied to regarding the manager's availability. We were lied to twice. The 3rd day, after returning and showing Desta's restaurant manager the other party's meal receipt, the manager Yohannes decided to reverse the incorrect charges and it took less than 3 minutes to complete. The manager Yohannes stated he had our information written on the board to resolve our issue but failed due to being very busy. Mind you, each time we visited this establishment, there wasn't a huge crowd. Day 1, 4 tables occupied besides our table, Day 3, 11:30 am, one takeout, and 3 tables occupied. We will never return because we were lied to. The manager's actions demonstrate nonchalant behavior and a disregard to consumers concerns.

  Eyerus was phenomenal!!!!! This lady is a huge ASSET to the facility. I would eat from here anytime as long as she is here. I have never experienced courtesy like what she provided us. She is a GREAT server.

  EDIT: The issue described in my original review (which I left below) was resolved, and I was very happy with how it was handled. I decided to update my review with that in mind. I haven't tried anything I have disliked here yet, and usually go for one of the beef options of the tibs with injera and mushroom stew. Original review: Soooo I love the food from this place, but I ordered take out, and part of it was an 8$ piece of chocolate fondant cake. I am very disappointed at the size of the portion.
