  Best Indian food I’ve ever had. The butter chicken was phenomenal and the chicken was so tender. the garlic Naan was only like $4 but out of this world, I could have ate just that. The place was so clean and aesthetically pleasing and my food was right there ready to be picked up right on time. I will for sure be back.

  We’ve always enjoyed eating at Desi Tadka in Oldsmar, but this time we had the pleasure of catering vegetarian food from them for a Hindu engagement ceremony at our home. Simply put — it was outstanding! Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Guests kept going back for seconds (and thirds), and several people asked me where the food came from. The menu truly captured the authentic taste of India while still feeling homely and comforting — exactly what you hope for when hosting such a special occasion. A big thank you to Vinod Rishi, the owner, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He is hands-down one of the best in the business — not only for the quality of food but also for his warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail. Whether you’re stopping by for a casual meal or planning catering for an important event, I can’t recommend Desi Tadka enough. Oldsmar is lucky to have this amazing restaurant.

  Mild means mild. Way too many hit or misses where my requested “Mild” ends up being medium or even hot. I can’t handle anything higher than mild. When they do get it correct, the food is great but I’m wasting money when the sauce ends up being higher than mild and causing me to trash it. Too expensive to deal with these mistakes.

  There guys do good, solid lunch too. Hope they go back to the mango pudding instead of rice pudding though.
