Myself and a friend were shopping around speaking in our native tongue and the manager, Heather, followed us around the store the entire time we were there. Made us both very uncomfortable. Then during check out she checked each item to ensure we weren’t stealing or switching tags. There were a few things she felt that had inaccurate tags so she took them to make sure. Turns out nothing was stolen or had tags switched. Very embarrassing for her. No need to follow people around or be suspicious of people speaking a different language. Won’t be returning. EDIT: just read a few Reddit posts that claim the same at the same location. Yall should be ashamed. Not everyone is white and able bodied.

This is my local DI and I’ve been visiting it for the past decade. I’ve never had a bad experience, and the building is always reasonably clean and orderly. Today I bought some furniture that turned out to be exceptionally heavy and the two guys that were assigned to help me load it into the truck were just awesome. They were kind and funny and just such hard workers. They somehow made it work and I was able to get my stuff home and return my rental truck on time!

Price change from the sticker price at the register is a bit off-putting. Not a good practice to encourage more people to thrift.

Had some good luck finding baby clothing the other day at the Saratoga location, so I thought I’d try this one. The prices were definitely high. Infant jeans for $5 (they were only $2 at the Saratoga location) and most of the infant shirts and jackets had stains or lots of wear yet were priced around $5 each for many of them. There were baby clothing items you could buy brand new at Walmart for the same price. In the women’s clothing it seemed like every thing I picked up was stained or torn - yet the price didn’t reflect the issue. The store was well organized but I wouldn’t come back to this location.
