I took a lot of Christmas decorations down to the desert industries on wall Avenue in Ogden, Utah. I told him there was breakables. One guy took a towel and actually threw it into a den. A girl took the lid off and just dumped it and you could hear stuff breaking. They were rude. They were inconsiderate. They were unappreciative and I doubt I will ever donate anything to them again as I told the manager “ If you’re going to treat a like trash, I’ll throw it in the trash.”

I appreciate the people there and the good it does but calm down on the prices, LDS church is worth 300 billion dollars, you have plenty of money.

Went there today and the workers were great and very helpful. And the clothes I got were in really good condition and for $50 I got 5 pairs of jeans and 5 shirts. I'll go again for sure.

I love to go to thrift stores to see what I can find. This time, I was with 2 of my girls and we were specifically looking for skirts, dresses, and tops. What a mess! The store doesn't look like a mess but smalls in the larges, mediums with the extra larges, etc. At first, my daughter thought, maybe there were a lot of people hiding things so they could come back and get them when they had the money to buy it. Then, after trying on some items and returning it to the fitting room rack for the employees to put away, she saw the medium sweater shrug she had tried on was put right next to the fitting rooms with the knits in the XL section. We found long-sleeved items mixed in with the short. Another thing she tried on that was a fancy-type shirt was also put with the short-sleeve knits. My oldest daughter was fed up looking for stuff because she had very specific things she was looking for. She was totally frustrated by the lack of organization. My other daughter found some cute things but, due to the lack of organization, we couldn't find what my oldest daughter was looking for, and I only found one thing for me (which isn't usual). And, because it took us so long trying to find things, we missed out getting to another DI. The ladies putting away all of the clothes looked like zombies. Maybe they partied a bit too much the night before? Had a crying baby keeping them up? Not sure but, it was EVERY. SINGLE. LADY. First and last time at the Harrisville DI.
