This company is an absolute joke, they were supposed to come on Tuesday called after I took the day off and told me they would not be able to make it and would be there Thursday. They didn't get a hold of me until the afternoon on Thursday and I had an emergency come up so I discussed having it done Friday. I took off Friday so that they could come and again they blew me off. Now I have no heat in my house and these people don't give adam about their customers. All they care about is money. Absolute horrible company. Stay away!!

I'd previously had a positive review for DHS, but have needed to severely drop my rating with my latest experiences I've had.
I had a whole home HVAC replacement occur approximately a year ago done by Dean's, the service and team was great, speedy and pleasant to work with.
Since then however, less than a year after the installation I've had the unit fully error out and shut down on me twice. The cause is due to a tripped flame roll out switch. The first repair tech was able to diagnose and fix the issue and cover it under warranty, no problems with them at all and I was happy.
Unfortunately, its gone out again when we're at our coldest point of this late fall/early winter season so far. When trying to schedule service again however, they told me that the soonest that they would be able to come out is Thursday- almost 4 full days ahead of when the issue happened as I reported it on Monday. As of the day of this review, it's 30 degrees and we have animals in the house that I'm slightly concerned about due to the cold and having no heating whatsoever for 4 days.
For being on the hook for a nearly $19,000 furnace replacement, I'm really upset that there doesn't appear to have been any urgency to get someone out to fix their newly installed unit. For what I paid/am paying for the next 10+ years, I'm really unhappy with this situation.

They shouldn't even get 1 star. We signed up for their membership to flush our water heaters and do annual service maintenance on our geo system and furnaces. They never called to schedule the service visits, when I called I got a call center with a very rude customer service representative that told me our membership had expired after 5 months even though it was an annual membership. This is a scam for sure. They also said they no longer service geo thermal systems so we don't even have a viable technician to work on our system. I asked for a managers email and the customer service person told me she doesn't have any emails for their management which we all know is complete BS. What modern day company doesn't have contact information for their management. They refuse to give it out because they'd be hearing from upset customers who paid for but received no service ALL DAY LONG!! Stay away, find a local shop with local ownership and save yourself the hassle. The attorney general needs to step in on this, sounds just like MN Russco, ponzi scheme on the memberships.
An absolute waste of my time. I contacted Dean’s and inquired if they could assist us with vacuuming and pressurizing the lines on an air conditioning mini-split that we had installed ourselves. They assured me that they would be able to perform this service upon my call and scheduled an appointment for us later that same week. On the day of my scheduled appointment, they contacted me to inform me that they were too busy that day and required us to reschedule. TWO WEEKS LATER, they arrived at our residence, entered the house, and promptly exited without completing the work. They informed us that they would not perform the service because they do not service DIY units. It would have been prudent to have been informed of this limitation when I initially contacted Dean’s, allowing me to seek alternative assistance. Instead, they wasted two weeks of my time, during which I could have already had the work completed by another professional.

Once again, Dean's comes through with flying colors! This time for inspection of my furnace. Sam was the technician and he was fantastic! He thoroughly inspected, took over a dozen pictures and explained in great detail what he found. He explained my options for repair, for new replacement and answered all of my questions. From there he set up an appointment for their sales dept to meet with me.
I also had questions about my water softener that Dean's installed back in June. Since that is not his area, he was unble to assist. However, instead of advising me to call their office, he took it upon himself to set up an appointment. Now that's a first for me. I've had a major company out for things in the past and when a situation like this came up, the response was for me to call as that was not their area.
Fast forward to both appointments, which was conveniently set up for the same day and roughly the same time frame to make my life simpler.
Aaron, who was one of the original technicians, was back and quickly determined and answered my question about my water softener. There was nothing wrong with it but he did not make me feel stupid. Instead, he took the time to explain AND show me how my new water softener differed from my old one.
Shortly after Aaron arrived, came Casey and Tony to go over my options for my furnace. Again, thorough, patient, answered all my questions and no hard core sales pitch.
All four of these guys were friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with!
Dean's process of reminder calls and texts, pictures, names and background of who was coming also appreciated!
I couldn't be happier with the services I've received from Dean's so THANK YOU!
