My premium kept going up every 2 months, anywhere from $100–$150, even though nothing changed with my driving record or other factors that normally affect rates. Whenever I asked for an explanation, I could never get a clear or straight answer.
I also had an uncomfortable experience with an employee named Nancy. She thought she had put me on hold, but she hadn’t, and I overheard her telling a coworker, “You’re going to need patience for this one.” I found that very unprofessional, especially since I had been nothing but polite and professional during our conversation.
In the end, I switched to another insurance company and it was the best decision I could have made—I now save $300 a month compared to what I was paying at State Farm.
