We went to Dave and Buster’s for the first time tonight and brought our 2 kids, under 10 years old. Our server, Emily, was really wonderful, friendly and helpful. The manager even came around to see how everything was. The kids had a blast playing games, as did a couple of adults who joined in. The food was just ok and it was very loud, but we expected that before we arrived. We will probably return, mainly for the games and family friendly atmosphere.

Was very disappointed by our experience here. I went with a work group, my pregnant sister, and her husband. One person in our party was caught with a fake ID, which was absolutely wrong on her part, and I applaud the team for re-checking everyone’s IDs afterward. However, after that, the rest of us were treated as if we’d done something wrong too. Our server never came back, and several staff members stood around their stations staring at us and talking to each other including the manager (older white lady with blonde hair). We were still planning to stay and play after the girl left, but the atmosphere made everyone uncomfortable. We were a large group, and Dave & Buster’s lost a lot of business from the game cards and additional drinks we would’ve purchased. One staff member even told my sister (who did not drink because she’s pregnant) that she “knew” we had “two more fakes.” If that were true, security would’ve caught them during the recheck. All of our IDs were legitimate Real IDs. The situation could’ve been handled with far more professionalism. The staff’s gossiping and hostile treatment of innocent customers was unacceptable. It took us 20+ minutes to pay for our checks with one of our party members calling the staff out on their treatment of us. The ONLY professional person they had last night was our server who apologized to me for the inconvenience to the rest of us after the event. The food’s not great (expected) and the drinks are weak (also expected). Can’t review the games, they looked fun but I’ll probably never be back to try them. Shout out to the D&B manager who encourages and allows her staff to gossip and treat customers poorly.

Was looking for something to do with the kids and Dave and busters just opened up. We went down there on Friday night and this place was a blast! They had a great assortment of games and overall, a fun environment. The staff was very friendly. The General manager that was there on Friday night was walking around and was super friendly and was engaging with my kids asking if they were having fun. Ended up staying for dinner and food was great as well. Extra perk was the UFC game was on so overall 10 out of 10! Will definitely be back!

Total bummer!!!!We went to Dave and Busters last night for my husband's birthday and what a total disappointment. First, we were waiting for 1 more person to show up so we thought oh we will all just go play games while we are waiting, we'll turns out there is a rule that 1 person has to remain at the table. The server said it was because if we all leave the table even with our things there that they would bus the table and give our table away. Mind you this was a Tuesday evening they had PLENTY of open tables. Well, we ended up ordering our food. It took 20 minutes for our friend who showed up late to receive her drink, mind you it was a soda. There were three different groups of us, 6 people total and our orders all went in at the same time. Well, 20 minutes later 2 of the people at our tables food came out. The rest of us were left waiting. The table next to us who was sat well after our table received their food while we were still waiting. Well, 40 minutes later 3 more of us received our food. We had seen it sitting up at the window for at least 5 minutes so by the time it reached us the fries were barely warm and the chicken wings were gummy and gross. The waiter made it a point to complain about being short staffed and that it had been a terrible night, I think he did that because he could probably see the steam coming out of my ears at this point. However, my husband who ordered a flatbread pizza was still left waiting. His pizza finally came abour 10 more minutes later. We ordered our food at 7:50 pm and didn't end up getting all of our food until 9pm. I did feel bad for the server who tried to make it right by giving a free desert and a $25 play card to come back again, but with the lack of communication throughout our experience, the price of the food for the quality that was served, the lack of management support, plus watching the servers and kitchen screaming at one another, I don't think my family or the two families we were with will return. It was a very uncomfortable and disappointing birthday celebration...

Ive heard good things of Dave and Busters and was excited to get one in Town+ FINALLY see the "hype".. UNFORTUNATELY, I will say when my husband and I decided to chose here to check out for a date night/mom and dad night out AFTER ages as out FIRST date officially as a married couple that I DID feel disappointed. I couldn't help but expect more. We went on a Friday evening, and it was packed (but couldn't see the hype). ARCADE REVIEW- The arcade was smaller than I expected (a thing I see mentioned in other reviews). In terms of quality of games offered, I feel the options were heavy than other arcades locally on the "WIN TICKET games"- ticket winning claw machines, spin the wheel for tickets, coin ticket game, etc. BUT.. I felt for how much the games cost it was also on the inconsistent side for how much tickets you could earn. I personally lean towards like Ski ball/air hockey games (29 yo adult) vs pushing a button to try and get tickets. Tried the 2 bowling machines- disappointing/faulty, the machine broke/didnt return the ball. The few ski ball were so short on balls (ONLY 1/2 total), and I found out there were 4 balls that were off BEHIND THE MACHINE. Only 1 air hockey and it was ALWAYS packed (other arcades locally have at least 2). It looks to also have a spot for darts, maybe shuffle board. In full transparency I dont frequent ARCADES often so cant speak on the overal prices, but I will say I felt it was pricey+ I personally have had more fun going to South 40 and GSR for example in terms of play options. (Like any arcade, ticket prices can be high and you'd spend TONS more saving up for x item than buying it with actual cash.) Prize area seemed okay. In terms of it being a family friendly environment, yes and no for what it offers + from first impression, Id recommend another spot tbh for kid parties etc.. As other reviews say.. ITS LOUD FAR LOUDER than a lot of places Ive gone. You can still here a person talk, but the noise ended up giving me a headache in the 2.5 hours we were out and Im not a sensitive type. If you have kids with noise sensitivities/easily overstimulated, I WOULD not chose here ON A BUSY (friday-weekend night to try it out. A plus- they do offer food/gaming combos AND adults can carry around their drinks at the arcade. . BAR/FOOD: The food was good but not overally impressive personally+felt it fells a bit flat. I dont watch sports but felt if you are a sports bar type- there may be other better options to go. I felt the dinning/bar area WAS a bit crowded/packed together for seating. We got the mozzarella sticks (my favorite of it all, brussell sprout, buffalo wings, a cajun pasta with jalapeño cheddar sausage and cajun shrimp, and then had to conclude with the Smores cheesecake). The wait was a 45-1 hour to be seated (they send a text). I did applaud the drink menu by saying options/visually being appealing, but no prices listed anywhere when it came to alcohol (not a major biggie but cant imagine a bar tab🤣). An alcoholic blackberry lemonade was $13. The wait for food was about 25 minutes on a Friday. Service was good/staff seemed friendly enough. Summary: 3/5 stars. For a 2 person date night it ended up being $200 (2 appetizers, 2 entrees,1 desert, 2 alcoholic drinks, $60 in game credits). The crowdedness for what it offers/how smaller the place is is not worth it to me for waits nor gaming quality (juat personal opinion). I personally would probably chose to go elsewhere in town, BUT doesnt mean Id at least try going once more. For the hype/fun I heard of Dave and Busters as a place it was a letdown. Id still give it a shot as a corporation if I came across one in travels. At least check it out once locally and make own verdict.
