  “Came for lunch, stayed for the magic show.” Dropped in with a colleague for a quick lunch and got greeted by bartender Sean (yes, spelled correctly — the right way, the only way). I thought I was just getting a burger and a drink, but apparently, I stumbled into a full-blown magic act. Drinks appeared before I finished saying the word “margarita,” and my food came out so hot and fresh I briefly wondered if there was a secret kitchen portal to the sun. The new menu deserves an award — some of these items haven’t been seen at a Dave & Buster’s since flip phones were a thing. Nostalgia and flavor all in one bite. Meanwhile, on the floor, the techs were hustling like it was the Olympics of arcade maintenance. These folks were assembling what looked like the world’s largest crane machine — apparently called The Human Crane. It’s equal parts terrifying and awesome. Pretty sure if they finish it, it’ll have its own zip code. If you come here, ask for Sean. The man’s part bartender, part illusionist, and maybe part time traveler — because somehow he made lunch feel like a full event.

  Food was NOT good at all. Service was good, we were our servers only table.

  Food was great and service was good. The waiter could have checked on the table more often. Didn't like that you buy an unlimited play card that tops out at 1500 points.

  I just had the best customer service experience at Dave & Buster's this evening. I have been employed in most every environment thinkable within the food and beverage and hospitality industry over the last 25 years. The manager, Erik, bartender, the lovely Rye (like the whiskey), and London, all put forth an extreme effort and went above and beyond to help me best navigate my Saturday night in Boise while waiting for a friend. They show great patience with me, boys, commitment to their profession, and I can't think of anything else they could have done to better represent their corporation, their co-workers, and their community. I am very grateful.

  For a party of 6 cost $250 and it wasn't even good food. And spent about about $60 for games. The person that sat us at the first table was very rude. We told her we have 5 people now and a 6 person is coming soon. So she sat us down at a table of 4. We looked at her and said we need 2 more seat. She argued with us and scoffed to a booth to sit us down. Then we pretty much never saw our server. When it was ready to check out I had to go to the front and ask to how to pay because it was my first time and the only time we saw our waiter was to take our order and drop off food.
