  I recently tried to contact the owner of the company, Dan, to discuss a potential business opportunity. Unfortunately, I encountered some difficulty when trying to leave a message, as his wife was screening the calls (wife of 54 years she explained). She seemed more focused on questioning the purpose of my call rather than facilitating a connection with Dan. This created an obstacle to doing business and was quite frustrating. I believe that improving the process for handling business inquiries could enhance the overall customer experience and make it easier for potential clients to reach the appropriate person. Thank you for your response - however inaccurate it is. I never mentioned it was a "secret" that would have been odd... I only told you after you were filtering my call, that I wanted to do something special for my parents kitchen (they are in their 80's and would be a surprise for them). You should have simply said at the beginning of the call, absolutely let me take your name and number and have Dan call you back. It was honestly THAT SIMPLE. You didn't have a regard for the process on my end, you didn't answer the phone with a company greeting (you just hello) I had no idea who you were until you went down the negative path to screen the call. Even now you are tying to justify your behavior.

  My wife and I had Dan Rutkowski Construction Company do a bathroom renovation on our home in Nokomis. Dan and his staff were totally professional and handled the work in a timely manner. They did everything that we had discussed and contacted us if modifications were needed. The project wasn't huge but they treated us as if it were. One thing that we were impressed with was their assistance in the bathroom design. Another thing that we liked was that they had all kinds of samples in their office making it very easy to pick what we wanted. This was way better than going to a "Big Box" store and trying to figure out what would look good. This is a family operation and they made you feel like you were part of the team from start to finish. We absolutely love our bathroom and have received many compliments from our friend and family. When we decide to do our next project, we will be calling Dan again!
