  They did 2 big jobs for me and they were great but afterwards when I wanted more work, they didn't answer my calls or return them. Very disappointed!

  Sadly, I have had a similar recent experience with Dan. He did not follow the survey provided and the work had to be redone. He ignored our numerous requests and phone calls to fix the job. We had to pay for another contractor to come and fix Dan's mistake.

  Recently hired Dan and his team for patio paver repairs that was quite a large section and had complete lawn care including but not limited to spring clean up/weeding, trimming of all hedges, shrubs, etc as well as mulching. Dan provided an estimate and promptly scheduled us in for the work. He and his team show up early in the morning and spend the entire day working the various areas of our yard. They worked fast, efficiently and left my property looking spotless. These guys are clean, neat and do great work- I would highly recommend them for the work i had completed. They are now hired as my seasonal landscapers- we'll see how the weekly lawn service goes. Very nice and easy to work with. Thank you D Nuse, can't wait for my flowers to come up.

  I would say stay away from Dan based on my experience, but if you have a big job he might work for you. I met Dan while his men were doing a job up the street from me and it was then that I asked him for a quote on a small paver repair job that I needed at my house. He said no problem, came to my home that day, gave me a quote which I thought to be very fair and said he'd be able to do the job after he completed the other job. He took my name, address, phone number, and wrote it in his work pad that he kept with him along with the agreed upon quote. He gave me his card and wrote his cell phone number on the back of it in order to get in touch with him if needed. Well, he finished the job up the street, but never called me. I called him, he said he'd get to my job the next week. He didn't. I happened to see him at the job site up the street again (apparently finalizing something). He told me in person he'd get to my job soon. He didn't. I called him using the phone/phone number I gave him when he put my name/number/quote in his work pad to no response. I called on another phone and got through to him, he said he'd get to it soon after I said I could wait if necessary as mine was a small job. After not hearing from Dan and not getting through for a number of weeks and after leaving voice messages to call me back, I called Dan on another phone to his cell phone number that he gave me. He called back within about five minutes and after hearing me say who it was and what the call was about, it appears he hung up on me! I called him back immediately leaving a message that he should call me back as we were disconnected and I hope he had not hung up as that would be poor business practice. Well, he has not returned my call after a reasonable time period. This experience dealing with D Nuse Landscaping started and has gone on since the end of June until now Sept. 20th. He apparently does not mind lying to one's face or on the phone. He does not have the decency to just say he does not want the job which is what he could have done at any point when I spoke with him - but no, he kept saying he would do the job and it would be soon (btw...I kept hoping he was planning to do my small job because I was not in a rush and because the job up the street his men completed seemed to be pretty good work). At this point I am not a fan of Dan. I will update this review should anything change.

  After reading these reviews the first guy was never someone that called. The second guy was a previous worker, who is a drug addict and previously been in jail for many charges.
