- BGBM GarzaNov 19, 20241.0🚨 WARNING: AVOID Cute Cakes Bakery AT ALL COSTS! 🚨 This is hands down the WORST experience I have ever had with a business. Here’s what happened: I placed a custom special order for a very important event. They seemed so kind at first, took my order, and even required prepayment—no problem, I trusted them. I even gave them a generous tip upfront because I appreciated their “customer service” at the time. They provided me with a receipt for pickup, so everything seemed legit. But on the pickup day, I showed up to CLOSED DOORS! There was a cheap sign slapped on the door that said, “Closed Until Further Notice.” No email, no call, NOTHING. I tried calling them several times, and guess what? No response. They stole my money and ruined my entire event. I had no time to find another bakery, and they didn’t even have the decency to warn me about their closure. It’s beyond unprofessional—this is THEFT. I’ve reported them to the Better Business Bureau because this is unacceptable. Cute Cakes Bakery isn’t just untrustworthy—they’re downright evil and dishonest. Please don’t let them ruin your special moments like they did mine. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR MONEY OR YOUR EVENTS. Spread the word. These people are thieves and should not be in business.
- AJAmanda JonesAug 14, 20211.0The worst bakery in San Diego county. I was excited to celebrate my daughter’s 30th pre-birthday with some fabulous cup cakes at Cute Bakery. Ordered them ahead of time and even picked up a few extra. The place had an odor to it when u walked in. Giving it the benefit of the doubt and bought two extra cupcakes for my step daughter only to come home and have a Cisco frosting taste, sad strawberries and soggy cookies on top after tip and purchase of 8 cupcakes and tip $46 later had to buy something different. Called Cute Cakes and spoke to Carrie who advised there regular customers had no complaints and no refund would be granted. Wasn’t looking for a refund but something to compensate my time to get something else. Please do not shop there and waste your time and energy
